Item Rating(potential) and Enhancement(star) System

I've always read 2 or 3 attributes. Did we get owned?

Now that we have the client data, can those 3 points be checked in our files?
- The number of attributes cannot be changed by the cube. If the first glass revealed 2 attributes, you're stuck with 2 attributes forever.
- Miracle cubes can only upgrade or keep the rank of each attribute when used on the same item repetitively. The item will never lose rank.
- Each attribute is independent of the others when it comes to rank. You can have +9%/6%/3% (unique/epic/rare) on the same lvl 80 item at the same time.

I suspect Chinchilla Lord Fiel will clear alot of our confusion up by the end of the night. Just waiting for him to do extractions on the GMS files

It was always 1-3.

To add onto the 3rd question, this is one thing I don't exactly get

From my understanding, say you have a 71-120 glove. That means the % bonus possible (Ignore other stats to make it simpler) is 3/6/9 and getting those is random.

But there's also the blue yellow and purple border which determines item rank. Is this 2 different things, or is like one the result of the other

i.e. 71+ items will all have the unique yellow border as a consequence

So my main question is basically asking about the color border rank + the rank bonuses depending on the level of the item
Reply
The color borders relate 100% to whether the item is Rare, Epic, or Unique. This is determined before the bonuses.

Ie.
Unidentified item
use a Magnifying Glass
1) Rare/Epic/Unique (blue/purple/yellow)
2) 2 or 3 bonuses randomly (or maybe 1-3)
3) randomly select those bonuses from what's available to that item rating, based on the level of the item

Rare items only have level 0 or 1 bonuses (3%), Epic can have level 2 bonuses (6%), and Unique can have level 3 bonuses (the 9% for 71-120 equips)

Which means, presumably, that the higher the quality, the bigger the pool is to choose from. And I'm not sure what was asked here:

But +9%str, +9%str, +9%str is possible.

If you know you're getting 3 +% to a stat, that would make 3 rates * 4 stats = 1/12 to get +9 of your desired stat. Three times.

1728 different possibilities.
0.058% chance.

Have fun with that one, guys.

That sucks. So a more reachable goal would be 9%, 6%, 6%?

I hate decimal places. <_< See edit.

9/6/6 is only three times as common. Your best bet would be to try for ANY boost to your main stat three times.

Even if you just want 6 or 9 on each 'slot', you have like a 2% chance at it. 9 if you don't care about the 3rd slot. 30 if you only want a 6 or 9 on the 1st slot.

Whats the chance to get class skills like hb, SE and door. And with miracle cube can you keep trying to get it? Does it matter what lv your equip is either? Cause i got a 20 atk lv 10 glove. Not sure what to do.

- Mystic Door, HB, Haste: Level 70+
- SE: Level 120+
I think this is just a requirement to give you the skill, and it can be on any level item still (and cast on party members at any level). But I'm not certain.

- Mystic Door, Haste: Epic
- SE, HB: Unique

So another way to prove that Unique items can get Epic bonuses would be to see Door/Haste on a Unique.

So in order to get SE and HB, the item has to be unique. I have to be lvl 120+ to use the self-SE and 70+ to use self-HB. Are those two statements correct?

We don't know. That level req could be the level you have to be to get it while you get a bonus(aka, scrolling), the requirement of the gear, or the requirement for the bonus to take effect (ie: "If lv 120+, SE +1")

Even though I hate the potential scrolling system, I do have 2 question about item self skills:

- I assume you only get the skill as long as you wear the item? Or do you only have to wear the item -once- to get the skill forever?

- Guide says that only Epic (Haste / Mystic Door) and Unique (SE / HB) items get the skill upgrades, but does this mean that an Epic Hat gets Mystic Door by default (meaning 100% chance that the item gets the self skill)? Or is it still only a -CHANCE- that an Epic Hat -CAN- get the skill?

- Chance.

my guess is that it's all based on chance to get the skill, not guaranteed. otherwise, we'd have seen a whole bunch more of these things.

You can also go to newts/skelegons/whatever drops your level 100 hat with the new 10x equipment drop rate and spam 70%s on those, occasionally not having to 70% a lucky few. Then toss on that hat when you need to door yourself.

Are we sure that we're getting the 10x drop in this patch too?
