Medium rare, but it can depend on the restaurant. At some places, medium rare is like 10 seconds away from rare and still bleeding, so I order medium.

Real men eat their meat cooked, Greg. Don't lie to yourself.

Any culinary person will tell you that steak is meant to be eaten rare to medium.

I myself had a filet migon sandwich tonight from black angus. Was one of the best sandwiches ive ever had.

Burgers can also be within the same range of cooked if the joint uses quality meat.

My uncle likes to get steak at vons or ralphs and have them put it through the meat grinder to make some burger meat. Shits good.

I prefer it well done. If it's dry, the meat probably wasn't juicy enough in the first place. ._.

Sometimes the person cooking gets it wrong and it ends up medium well done. >.>

I had this really awesome steak at an Italian restaurant for my birthday last year. It was so good I almost swore never to eat steak from anywhere else ever again...but I never went through with it after looking at the bill. x.x

EDIT: I just remembered the name of the restaurant. It's "Pontini", at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. Not that any of you would really want to eat steak at a classy Italian restaurant in Singapore, anyway. Might as well go to Europe or something.
