The definite ask and answer thread about Tespia!

Stereo Wrote:Why set everything else equal? The 1h swords are in general faster than 2h swords, which gives them about an 8% boost in dps, and it's not like you'd use a statless shield. Even a fairly average scrolled warrior shield with 10 str 10 atk is gonna be about a 5% increase in base w.atk, so you only need to identify it with another 5% str to beat the 2h setup.

think you missed my point... which was that the shield + 1h needs to make your range 117% of your 2h range to make up for the smaller multiplier. speed isnt really a point for comparison unless youre talking fast4 swords. fast5 2h exist and are fairly accessible, which negates the advantage of everything but red katana and lunchbox (unless ive been gone faaaar too long).

...are stonetooth prices high again? i stopped soon after the box events that dropped them, coincedentally. thatd do a lot to validate your argument..

Stereo Wrote:There is, but the formula's something that makes it fine to be lukless (INT + 2 LUK + gear acc). The problem is the monster hit formula - we don't know how that's calculated, so there's no real guide to how much acc you need.

Is the formula confirmed? Because then I think most mages wouldn't have a problem hitting with mainly INT, specially if equips start coming with Magic Accuracy as well.

Not enough good quality pictures of Magicians (including all sources of accuracy) to really say for sure. It appears that "accuracy" adds to both physical and magical.

I've got another question: What all does the new Magic Crash break/prevent?
That is, what does it dispel, and what does it prevent?

I imagine it handles all the normal att/matt/def/mdef up buffs, but does it handle nulls and reflect?

So pretty much if you're a luckless magician and can't hit enemies at all after the new updates just wear the new Time Traveler's Circlet and Ludibrium cape until you can add points into luck (or if you're not going to be gaining anymore points to put into luck).

I would assume it does, otherwise it's entirely useless.

Question: Are PQs released for up to lv 200? Or was it only for testing purposes?

PLEASE, let it be for all levels...

EDIT: AND ALSO! What about hp? Did it change? I'm meaning the base hp, before the 20% skill.

I'd rather not assume. I'd like to know for sure.

LPQ is. I'd assume it applies to everything, but iunno. Source: Guild Mates.

Hit anything under your level and you're fine.

OH GOD YES.

YES YES YES.

I'm gonna use a potential scroll on my pirate hat then! DECIDED. And if I blow it up... I'LL GET ANOTHER. AND ANOTHER. AND ANOTHER. That platypus of Davy Jones is gonna know what's in store for him...

If you're even 1 level below a monster, you'll miss at a certain rate. I can confirm this with my Marauder.

Ahh, I don't know if you can do that ~_~

Kyo (Spadow) looked at the LPQ NPC after we finished a PQ and he said only level 30~40 (50?) can get the Cracked Glasses.

There's a screen shot of a Lv. 48 dual blader clearly doing KPQ (and featuring the new treasure chest reward system) on a certain market site, if you catch my drift.

Level limit on the rewards is really stupid, but you could farm them with your main and Scissor 'em?

So I've noticed that the new UI lets you see more, so does that have any effect on the first stage of GPQ or are 2-3 people still required for it?

That's not the new GUI, it's the new resolution.

Screw the rewards, I'm one S rank away from a PQ Mania medal and I don't want to do 76 more Magatia PQs or like 300 Pirate PQs :/

Okay, my bad, but my question still stands.
