OK, since these patches have arrived, Everything's a total chaos. Nobody knows pomegranate about anything happening in there, and people jump to conclusions faster than anyone. SO! I TELL YOU.

ASK PEOPLE! And what better place to ask than in a thread with people playing the damn thing? Well, I tell you, ask away! I'll try to grab all answers and put them here, in this first post you are reading right now. Even I will post some nice questions for starters. HOWEVER, one little thing, to keep things accurate. WHEN ANSWERING, post how sure you are of your answer. If there's the SLIGHTEST chance it may not be correct, just say so. If possible answer in this form:

"Answer" - 85% accurate.

This way, people is able to expect stuff. AND BASED OFF REAL EXPERIENCES!

Ok, let's get this started.

Does bowman's Phoenix deal DoT? And if it does, how much?

What's the exact effect on Night Lord's new skill? And on the stars recharged per hit, does it count per star, or per attack?

How does combat orders work with going past the mastery level or the max level of a skill?

What's the calculation of critical damage?

Can Paladins dual charge?

How does Damage over Time work?

Which skills have interruptible stun and which don't?

Has the calculation for Heal changed to compensate for the new HP values? How does heal damage work?

What's the calculation of mob physical/magical damage?

How is accuracy and enemy avoid calculated?

Is Damage over Time susceptible to being interrupted (renewed) every attack, thus unable to activate at all?

Is Threaten still all or nothing like we have now? (50% to do all effects, 50% to do nothing)

Does Power Guard still have reduced effectiveness against bosses?

100% Accurate answer:

No. The pushback rate is equal to the formula 40+3*x where X is equal to the level of the skill. It tops out at 100% knockback at level 30.

Negative. Summons never deal DoT.

The only reason those specific class questions can't be answered right now is because there are none of those classes within the english speaking KMST group. Once mechanic gets introduced and hopefully tespia exp/drop rates increased, we can answer these questions extremely easily.

why do you guys care so much about these questions now...by the time Big Bang comes to GMS everything will be clear(like 2-3 months b4)

Because by asking these questions, we can summarize the things which are most important for the community to know. For one, I'm glad that we know how damage ranges work. The more we know, the more we can plan.

I'm also wondering if it's like this in KMS in general.

I mean, when they did the balance patch I figured the percent chance only applied to the blindness effect. But it's a single percent chance that the skill will do nothing. Really, really annoying on bosses where it would be useful if you could rely on it.

The point of this site originally was for extractions and all that fun talk about how the skills work and what happens in the other maples. We weren't meant to be like "Ohai gaiz! wut caractr i makes cuz its strong dmages?" and "Hai. maple hard i quit FFFFF-" but we help them nonetheless (unless of course they ask rather redundant questions which can all be solved via the search function).

On topic: Does hurricane work with FA? Cause that would be pretty baller.

What is up with Brawler HP? I see Takebacker's with as much HP as an lolranged class, but the couple Buccaneer/Viper videos that we see in kMST have 8k-9k at 12x (with little signs of HP washing looking at their MP levels). What's going on with that??? Are Brawler's HP truly lower than current pre-Big Bang levels or are they actually higher?

Are the changes in the current Tespia going to be exactly copy and pasted into KMS as is? Or is there the possibility of some things being changed around for the actual Big Bang patch?

It should be obvious that most of the people on here care for the intelligent discussion.
And if you don't like how it works, you can go back to SW or Basil.

With the change of shockwave for Buccs, is it a lot more useable now?
Or is it still worthless compared to the other available skills?
How helpful is S. Trans now that it gives ATT but does not stack with anything else?
Is it still worth it for the haste and Demolition for bossing?
And have there been any noticeable delay increases for skills while in S. Trans like before?
