Least Played Class after New Update?

The problem with being a support class is that MapleStory only rewards you for doing as much damage as possible. Why would you want to be a DrK if a Hero could do the same thing but better? It's not like Heroes have trouble getting accepted into boss runs. Having HB just means ONE HB user will be taken along IF the party needs it. HB slot filled? Too bad.

I posted something a while back stating: Why should MM's and BM's allow themselves to get into random boss runs if they can't get any part of the loot?

Most of the answers stated: "Because we only needed you for SE."

Do you honestly know how many pots are needed for MM's and BM's during boss runs? Having a skill that drains your MP in 50 seconds, while trying to survive 2hKO's. Your looking at tonnes of Ginger ales!

I mean common, using someone else as a mule and not allowing them to get anything from it is disgusting enough. If you want to make a character of a specific job, your supposed to enjoy it, not let some dexless sin walk all over you just because you can raise their low damage, or their low hp. RPG's are games where you can choose what you want to do, and not be some 9 year old's donkey.

DKs are actually beasting now, get a perfect arcglaive and start furying everything. Need to mob? No problem, just fury. Need to kill anything any single target mob? No problem, just fury and possibly sacrifice. Spears are garbage since arcglaive has a higher base and same speed. Spear and polearm are basically sword vs axe/mace for heroes and pallies. More att, less speed, except for arcglaive. Even if crusher proves to be better, arcglaive is still better since it'll do the same damage whether it stabs or swings.

But back on topic, I would say archers and corsairs. In most cases, people will try another character or two and go back to their previous main. I think there will be a huge problem with drks, unless you're talking about chaos zakum or horntail, I don't think hb is needed for night lords which make up a huge chunk of attackers.

What about the rest? Well, go check 3rd and 4th job tables, and you'll know what I mean. For Bowmen, for example, it won't only increase hurricane's arrows, but also Sharp eyes for the rest of the party,and practically everything else, too. Maple Warrior? 1 extra % on your stats and the whole party. Resurrect? Lowered cooldown. Think about it. Oh, and also, your own skills, too. Have that in mind.

are you sure ALL 3rd job and 4th job skill affected?

Also, from the description, the combat order do not really go beyond the max level. but i see many people saying it go beyond the max level (for example lvl 32 for hurricane).

I hope the do something about bm and mm hp. I think that would be enough. all class got some skill/stats to balance their hp except bm and mm....

In case you haven't heard, there's a chance for equipment to already be Unidentified when dropped from monsters.

MSBB also gives Archers the Dodge skill, which acts somewhat like Shadow Shifter.

do you know how the dodge work? it seem no one talk about it at all. All are concentrating on the vengence and advance strafe skill...

BMs will always be more popular than MMs, doesn't matter what happens. I'm thinking bishops will lose a lot of popularity. Not that they'll be unpopular, but just the reason pretty much everyone with 3+ chars in 4th job has at least one bishop is hs+gen. FPs, I don't really know. They'll probably stay about the same as they are now. MMs should become a bit more popular relative to BMs, but it won't be much of a contest. NLs will probably take a hit, but still maintain pretty high numbers like their bishop counterparts.

My bet for least played class after the updates would be FP, as they now can't ultimate train, they have average (at best) abilities, and nothing but MW to aid parties with. And the idea of a fire and poison mage itself isn't very popular just like a crossbow user. Fire's cool, but poison doesn't really inspire a lot of "wow cool / I bet that's fun to play" for someone looking to play a magician in an mmorpg.

lol i really want to see the to critical of dk. I think they have they have the highest critical among all warriors.

As i mention, I think dk will not lose out to the other class. they will be on par with pally and hero.

ya. even the icon for archer is a bow. so naturally everyone become a bm. well mm also have its advantage. it can freeze.

for DK, I manage to find some video. I think their critical rate is really not bad.
