The point I was trying to make, was that Big Bang has become so strong that it outdamages all other skills. Even if a monster were weak to Fire , Big Bang would still be the strongest option- and it's just barely behind paralyze on poison weak.
And I entirely agree that taking these changes too seriously before they're finalized is a waste of energy, and have practically stated that in all my posts...

So then an elemental attack shouldn't be the best option on a mob weak against it?

That's what I meant, training.

As a solo class our bossing was quite decent, but when compared to other classes buffed at say a boss like HT, our damage became mediocre unless tons of funds were dropped. Sure, it would be nice to do more damage..., I mean I QQ'd all the time back in 06 because M.E. was my only bossing skill at 12x. CBs who didn't have control over DSing and dropping were phased out because it just slowed us down. Was it fair? No, but people want the fastest type of attackers. Simple and done.


Don't forget that shadowers have tons of avoidability and with the new formulas you never know what nexon could do. For around 3 years (4th job patch?) I've traded solid NL DPS for semi-godmode. When it came to HT, I preferred being a seduce mule over getting EXP. Maybe it's just because I endured all the hard times of a CB and enjoy that I get missed 80-90% of the time, I don't know.

I doubt nexon would screw an entire class up without giving them something to enjoy. They might of left bstep at 450% since the previous version hit 4 times and simply forgot.

I really don't mind the assassinate nerf, but I would like to see them completely rework the skill. I don't know what they were thinking when they gave bstep 4 hits..

It's not a puppet skill. It just reflects damage from touch. With 60 seconds and a 60 second cooldown it'll be nice additional damage for bosses though. They're most likely going to change a few thing with DrKs and most likely shadowers. I say most likely because I'm honestly not quite sure if they have anyone testing Bandits due to the theif advance being glitched in KMST.

Well, shadowers that were made before the revamp patch, can test that. I've to see yet any shadower in game, though.

gah as far as i know it may just be a puppet skill in that it takes agro off you... but it isn't as godly for shads because MG decreases the dmg you take. Then again you could forgo MG for an up in dmg. I mean if you can survive a hit and your barely getting touched in the first place it may be a good tradeoff if you can survive the hits

I tested it with the NL version.

What happens is, that giant shuriken goes into the ground.
If you get hit and you're in range, that shuriken sends off a lightning bolt looking attack that attacks the monster for whatever damage.
I couldn't really see how the damage worked, cause I tested it in a big mob of octopuss and they kept missing me so the shuriken sent off bolts of misses.
It doesn't puppet.

Point being what exactly? A class has to be top, so what if it just so happens to be dual bladers? Also They've taken all nerfs and no buffs, so what if nexon put their skill back the way they originally made it? Thorns is dropped so far now that SE completely overshadows it.. Is there even a point to using thorns at the moment?

Reminds me of megaman battle networ series, with that one chip that summons a piece on your side and if the enemy did a certain amount of damage to you it'd send a lightning bolt and damage them xD

yea well im old date shadower as well and i remember the 06 time.and to be honest that was our time to shine

there was no single zrun without shadowers cause we were doin basically more than half of job exploding bags (at least in khaini we didnt really dp zrun without at least 2 shads)

i didnt forget about avoid.but to be honest its a bit sad that even at 19x with decent funding (imo, i've started from 0 tho) and range yet i was still concidered as nothing else but seduce / smoke mule.its kinda sad that after all the hard work i put into training my char im still only a weak mule.im not saying i dont enjoy my shad cause i love it and i tried to quit it few times in the past but couldnt and always ended up goin back i'd like to see some changes that could really help us change how ppl "see" us at bosses.
so i still hope we get some decent upgrades in near future

also i agree with you that assasinate should be remade
1st of all no charge (or at least something like current snipe / bb charge up time without need of goin into ds)
2nd range i dont understand how a buccaner that hits with bare fist can hit something that stands like 100 pixels away (or w.e range it has now) yet the shadower cant hit the same thing with a WEAPON
current range is really crapy -pointed out some of situations in my previous posts-
3 4th hit also this hit could be stationary (?!) and not rushing forward cause at stronger bosses 4th hit is basically useless unless you can take the dmg (which also requires washing in most cases in current gms version)

(if there are any errors sorry.english isnt my main language and its 3 am here heh so forgive me)
