It probably reflects the number, not what you actually take after stuff like Meso Guard is calculated.
Like how my old CB took a visual 3800 damage from Himes but only recieved half of that.

And Assassinate IS NOT a Shadower's main attacking skill. :| Even with its old stats, it still had the 8 second charge up time.
900%/4 mob Boomerang Step is far better regardless. Also considereing how the pickpocket formula was changed, and now the entire Meso Explosion skill was changed, it could prove to be a useful skill.

Meso Explosion doesn't seem to run off its own "mastery" anymore. It has a set damage %.

Yeah, but now it's worse than it ever was IN ADDITION TO having the backwards ass charnging system. Hopefully ME does the fabled 180% per 1 meso, but I'd be happy even with per10 mesos.

The new meso explosion looks like:
1 meso on the ground, regardless of value = 180%. One use of the skill can blow up up to 20 dropped mesos and hit up to 10 monsters.

If that's how it works, pickpocket + savage blow + meso explosion = 3600% AoE damage every couple of seconds.

Hot, no?

Liking the +6% on orbs for Combo Attack, but what I want is a faster slash brave. Really. Sad

I never played a Shadower for maximum DPS. Even though I was a stat hoar, I knew in my mind that other classes are still far superior with the same amount of funding.

Shadowers are mainly known for avoid, survivability and fun. I'm completely fine with these changes since I don't want a millions of bandwagoners with no control making the real shadowers look bad.

That's actually pretty cool and reflects the 'chain' even more.

Although paralyze would still be more efficent seeing as it hits both front and back with a freeze duration.

The aoe mobbing/freezing ability of paralyze really puts the current chain lighting into question...

Not to mention its damage stays consistent.

That's nice. It's like having a second boomerang step. However, I don't think that's how it works because that'd make no sense. Also, 2006 CB here too.

Still waiting for them to release a skill for I/Ls so they don't only do less single target damage than F/Ps, but also less training, and more pot burn to boot since our skill doesn't freeze but theirs does.

It's like they took every pro I/Ls had over F/Ps and gave it to them.

Although with a mob paralyze, f/p wouldn't even need the summon anymore... >.>

Lol, guess we'll have to wait to see if there are any more adjustments...

F/P is looking to be more superior with stronger 1v1/poison training/mob freeze abilities.
