How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all)

Um... Since the SNES came out. I never had the original Nintendo system, but SNES started off my "gaming career," if you want to call it that. lol

Been playing games since I was 4-5 on my Mom's gameboy and my sister's original Playstation.

Got my own console (Ps2) when I turned 6 or 7, and it snowballed from there.

Probably started playing video games in '94 or '95. I remember playing Excitebike on the NES. That pomegranate was awesome.

Gamer gurl in the house.

I remember getting an N64 for a birthday present and playing some racing game. That's how it started at least.

14-15 years. The Gameboy was what started me, and then I got the N64 when it came out. Never played the NES/SNES when I was young. As I grew older, I got more and more into gaming. Continued to buy only Nintendo consoles with the Gameboy Color, Nintendo Gamecube and Gameboy Advance. In my early teen years, I started to get into computer gaming too. Maplestory was my first big one. Since then I've continued to replay games I have, emulate others, various freeware games and now DFO.

Probably until the day I die. I find very little as rewarding and enjoyable as gaming.

no worries dude, the oracle of seasons/oracle of ages games are nothing but giant loops. You transfer codes and you restart and when you finish that one you transfer again and again and again.

Also, speaking of looping games.... I beat that DX game like 50 times at least in my childhood lol....

loops...

The first thing I can remember playing was something like a "game and watch", my older sister (who's not much of a gamer anymore... I'm not sure she does any gaming) gave it to me but I don't remember much about it.
Then she let me play her Super Mario 3 on on of the NES... when she babysat me so I'd stay out of her hair... I'm not sure how old i was... 3 years old maybe younger (she being 13 at the time) I still remember every flute locations but I couldn't beat the final world till I was like 6 or 7 without powerups.
So 16 years give or take a year...

Whoever said gamer was a derogatory term... it's cause you made it one
