How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Justin - 2010-04-22 When I was 5 or 6. Me and my mom would stay up and play the first Zelda until like... almost 12 on some nights. Very confusing game when you're so young. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Khoi - 2010-04-22 Probably 4 years old playing around with my video console back in Vietnam, I don't know if it even has a specific brand-name. Sorta NES-ish. One of my first games I played was Chojin Sentai Jetman for the NES, still one of my favorite games. I'll finish this series one day. Probably gonna try to download English-subbed versions, since the entire damn thing is in Japanese, and released http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chojin_Sentai_Jetman How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Sarah - 2010-04-22 I've been playing games for as long as I can remember, but I refuse to call myself a "gamer." Gamers are fat greasy nerds who play competitively and get upset that gamestop won't give them full price for used games. Gamer is a derogatory term. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Hazzy - 2010-04-22 Depends on how you define gamer. I didn't own a 360 (or any non-Nintendo system, for that matter) until this past December. I turned 17 in October. :/ I have owned every single RPG Pokemon game, though. Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Plat, HG, and SS. I know where the bolded are. Rest are lost. :[ Played Pokemon since elementary/pre school (I remember bringing Blue to 1st Grade one day for show and tell, might have had it before then.) I did play Zelda: OOT, and loved it. Never touched Megaman, Pacman, or anything other than Pokemon (and Super Smash Bros. once GC came out). I use to play Maple pretty obsessively. Wrote stories about it for school(;_ , played all day, et cetera. Never got far. For the 3+ years I put into this pomegranatety game, all I have to show for it is a 50 Islander, 63 Sin, and a few lv 60 characters.
How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - ★★★★★ - 2010-04-22 Well, i mean to say "People who grew up playing games" or something along those lines. Nothing derogatory. HOLY CRAP a 50 Islander?? Up until a few patches ago you could return to Maple Island in JMS. So Islanders in JMS (if there are any) cant really be counted as legit or something along those lines. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - MariettaRC - 2010-04-22 Fell in love with Super Mario World when I was 4, been playing games ever since, mainly Nintendo games. I'm 21 now.
How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - chrome - 2010-04-22 My first game was Tetris for Gameboy, I think. Never was a gamer, never will be; I play whatever the hell I want whenever I feel like it and don't make a history of it. Except for stuff like Pokemon and Zelda which I particularly liked and were a big part of my childhood. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Bountyan - 2010-04-22 I've been playing those kiddy CD-ROM PC games for I don't even remember how long now, maybe when I was 5-6ish years old. I got my first video game console at around age 7 I think, it was a Gameboy Advance. First game for it was Mario Kart then later I got Pokemon Yellow.
How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Rob - 2010-04-22 Well I do consider myself a gamer sometimes. I mainly played PC games all my life. I never owned too many consoles since I would emulate them all on my PC. Ever since the release of Bleem! I've been into emulation, and that was when I was 8 or 9. I used to be pretty hardcore back in my old Age of Empires 2 online and Counter Strike phase. I even made it to the top 100 in my country in CS 1.3 tournaments. Yeah, good times. I'm massively hardcore with rhythm games this days. Mostly with Pump It Up, DJ Max, Pop N' Music and alternatively DDR. Pump it up used to be my main hobby 3 or 4 years ago, and now I have problems finishing 3 Crazy songs in a row, if not impossible. And also, since I was always behind with technology, I started with old 80s games before playing newer ones. But that gives me the right to brag that, approximately, I've beaten more than 350 games if my memory serves, and probably a good 300 incomplete. I now realice how much time I've lost playing games in my life. Thanks a f'ucking bunch OP. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - madanthony - 2010-04-22 Got an original brick GameBoy at the age of 8 with Tetris and an Animaniacs game. Been more of a netizen since picking up Maple back in sophomore year of high school. I never bothered to get one of this generation's consoles. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - Daku - 2010-04-22 Gameboy > Sega Game gear > gameboy color > Nintendo 64 > dreamcast > PS2 > GBA > DS > PSP > 360 > before kh:BBS comes out thou shalt aquire a ps3 ( so i can play online). Don't know if i remember all of them or that they are in order but im pretty sure i've been a Gamer since like the 2 ? watching my brother play.(some of the consoles were released before I was born but we still had them while i was growing up. Youre welcome~ As for Ceddybear, Ive had in order SNES > Sega Genesis > GameBoy > GameBoy Color > N64 > GameBoy Advance > PS2 > Dreamcast > GameBoy Advance SP > Gamecube > PSP (CFW) > Xbox 360 > PS3 > Wii > Nintendo DS How long have you been a..."Gamer"? Clearly I did, and the way you wrote it implies that BBS can be played online using the PS3, not that you want a PS3 for online capabilities with other unmentioned games. Agreed, though when some of my close friends at college found out I played video games, they instantly teased calling me a "gaymer." How does the title "video game enthusiast" sound for us, Sarah? Oh, and my experience: 12 years long or so. Starting with Pokemon Blue and a lime green GameBoy Color > GameBoy Advance > Gamecube > Nintendo DS > Computer (lolMS) > Nintendo Wii Oh, and @OP: Respect and brofist for Oracle of Ages, Golden Sun, and the unknown god, Link's Awakening DX. Absolutely phenomenal games right there. How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - TKWizard - 2010-04-22 I guess I starting playing games when I was like 9 or 10? Wow, you loved Dragon Warrior 3? You should play the rest of the Series How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all) - xAyakoCx - 2010-04-22 I've been a gamer since I was hooked on Tetris when I was 3. |
