Awesome Pokemon that suck
#21
[Image: Toxicroak.png]
Toxicroak. I completly love this guy, and his moveset is awsome, but psychic type moves........ rape the pomegranate out of them -___- Then his dry skin ability makes him a good choice to switch in on water type users, and take advantage of rain dance, but fire moves hit him for just about super effective damage. If ever they were real, I would want one.

I would honestly that Zangoose is one of them. He looks awesome but, as far as I know, is poop. =( (I might go research him later!! Big Grin)

Second'd.

Oh, and Quagsire.

There are also a lot of NFE pogeys I like. Charmander, for example.

Fuck, here's a good example of a Pokemon that had a pretty cool idea to it but was horribly made. It'd probably be better if they made it insta-transform when you send it out, and it keeps that transformation after you switch.

Agree with this as well. Nobody even really remembers it. It was found in what, like 2 caves in the game? Was used by no major trainers, and is an easily forgettable Pokemon.

Stats suck and is ridiculously rare. 1% chance in the Dark Cave, except during swarms. ;_;

Add Spinda to the list as well. Every sprite is different: Brilliant idea! Too bad it's rare as fuck with worse stats. (See URL for humorous stuff)

Pretty much any poison pokemon (Muk, Beedrill, Weezing, Arbok). Awesome looking, but one EQ/Psychic and you're dead. =/

Crobat says "Hey I'm not all bad."
Drapion says "All I'm weak to is ground-types, but i can learn water-moves to SUCK ON MY TAIL."

Suffocate in a Heatran.

Seriously, what was GameFreak eating when they shat out this pitiful excuse for a Pokémon? It has a great movepool—in fact, it's one that extends out ad infinitum—but its stats went down the crapper.

At least Spinda has many uses, which are:

lol

Major fault of the developers. "HEY GUYS, LET'S MAKE IT SO THAT EVERY POKEMON AND THEIR GRANDMOTHER CAN LEARN ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL GROUND TYPE MOVES."

"One of"? Ignoring Fissure, what's better than EQ?

Sup?

Srsly though, two poison types that don't suck don't break the rule.

Uh...Poison types that don't suck:
Tentacruel
Gengar
Roserade
Drapion
Toxicroak
Qwilfish
Weezing
Muk oops, Muk does suck
Crobat
Nidoking
Nidoqueen
Venusaur

Poison is a very good defensive type.

Ingame play has little room for quality walls. Online is a different ball game that less people play. :[

I've used Venusaur, Crobat, and Gengar in-game with great success.

Ya know what type gets underappreciated? Bugs. screw poison types, how many truly spectacular bug types are there out there, 3? Scizor has its hybrid steel working for it, so its got a double weakness to fire (for you people that dont understand my terms, that means its 4x super effective); Heracross has almost every dark-types number, albeit having some common weaknesses and is a PITA to obtain (personally); Shedinja is a wild card, it being the only pokemon to have the wonderguard ability but weak to several common move types, its a great trump card IMO; and Vespiqueen is the queen that deserves a higher throne.

Also, Sableye.
Dark/Ghost, can be found without having to do that underground BS, has no natural weaknesses, and has GEMSTONES FOR EYES; if anything, Sableye deserves an evolution in gen 5 too.

Vaporeon is OU, why do people say it sucks?

What comes to mind for me is Glaceon. My favorite pokemon. Nice stats, but severely limited movepool.

Vaporeon is a very good wall with nice special attack and a movepool that can utilize its stats. It's actually been one of my favorites since Gen I, before I got into competitive battling. It's moveset was pretty crappy in gen I though, but it was still pretty nice to work with. I actually have one that I keep on my competitive teams, and I don't even think it was OU at the start of Gen IV.

Raikou and Entei D: My two fave pokies.
I don't know if they're that good in Competitive battling.

Luvdisc... Well, actually, nevermind. Its design sucks, its stats suck, its movepool sucks...Luvdisc sucks and isn't awesome at all.

They're pretty nice. It's just Gamefreak fucked most electric and fire types up by giving everyone Earthquake and Stealth Rock, but it's not as if they're unusable. They're not bad at all.

Edit - I didn't mention Farfy yet? Man, this dude is long overdue for an evolution.

SAMURAI.
DUCK.

You'd expect it to be some fast hitting fucker with an attack that'll slice you into a million pieces before you can even blink. But no, instead it's a freaking slow bird Pokemon with a generic movepool that every other bird Pokemon can do better with. This thing will die in one hit, and is too slow to at least get one blow on the opponent before it goes down. On top of that, he's not even in a common place or anything. You have to hunt down an NPC that's begging to part with it in Red/Blue, and I think it's a rare pokemon next to Moo moo farm in Gold/Silver if I remember correctly.

Poor Farfy.
