new KMST gear has percentage based ACC and AVOID
#61
So that means, my archer can hit EVERYTHING imaginable in the game even though it already can???? Amazing!

Dusk Wrote:I raise you +67% accuracy and +55% avoidability to almost 900 dex. Every dex-based class will hit the accuracy cap.

Accuracy cap, I could care less since having over 203 accuracy for melee classes is already good enough for pretty much everything except Grandpa Boss. As for avoid, Pirates still get a buttload of avoid for the few points of DEX that they need, so it'll roughly equal archers, or maybe even exceed them depending on how much DEX the Brawler has. Corsairs still fall short since they get the lowest avoid per DEX, 0.125 or some number like that.

Takebacker Wrote:*Confused* So now you theorize that blessing/skills probably aren't % as well (which was my thought as well, which is why i excluded blessing/BT), yet you still included blessing in your previous post? :f6:

I included blessing as a static +11, not a 11%. If I included blessing's ACC and Avoid as a %, I would have mentioned that under "Total Accuracy %" and "Total Avoid %"

Now watch they change acc-to-hit formula to require like 2x the accuracy to 100% hit and avoid rate halved as of current.

Maybe if they changed the retarded way how levels gained past a monsters level has absolutely no effect on lowering the acc needed.

Blessing was accounted for as a +11. You said you didn't add blessing, which I interpreted as that you didn't add +12 blessing to your base accuracy and avoid. You would have seen +11% (Blessing) in my post if I accounting for Blessing as a % instead of +11. Is it more clear now?

LOL I HAVE 80 BASE DEX.

c

((134 * 0.8) + (34 * 0.5)) * 1.46 = 181.33200. Oh pineapple. Didn't add my Blessing and Mastery btw.

It counts base dex, not dex from equips.

Quote:Let me give you an example:
Without ALL my equipment I have 266 accuracy and 353 avoid.
When I only equip my Ravana Helmet (11% accuracy/9% avoidability) then I will have 295 accuracy and 378 avoid.
Other stats of helmet: 18 STR / 20 DEX / 19 INT / 22 LUK / 58 HP / 79 MP / 101 W.DEF/ 104 M.DEF / 7 Speed / 4 Jump

266*1.11 = 295.26, even though the helm also adds 20 dex and 22 luk.

That's strange, if the acc% only affects the base stats, then the +dex should be added after that application, right? Instead of (Base dex + additional dex) * acc multiplier, it'll be (base dex * acc multiplier) + additional dex.

Beats me...I haven't see anything too thorough with this yet. It'd be nice if it does count acc given from equips...it wouldn't make my acc completely crap.

Yeah, personally I think it makes no sense for it to affect only base stats.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

I spent so much time/money just to make my Aran DEXless. FML.

Hurray for lukless mages not getting affected.

Yeah, okay, I'll buy 80 AP resets to raise my dex so I can hit pomegranate and level again, and be a lot weaker than I was before.

Or I could quit this game. Why even bother? Warriors are shafted enough, especially Paladins.

Where did you get your information from?

I mean, like, train, and add all future points into dex.

You still have like 6-12 months to level up enough times.

Or you could quit.

Check one of the comments.

Also.

266acc * 1.11 = 295.26.
This is disregarding the additional 20dex and 22luk that comes with the helmet. If the acc-%-bonus affects equip stats, it's supposed to be (266 + 20*0.6 + 22*0.3) * 1.11 = 316 acc. If the acc-%-bonus does not affect equip stats, it's supposed to be 266*1.11 + (20*0.6 + 22*0.3) = 314 acc.
The fact that it remains at 295 perplexes me. There's also the inexplicable 353 * 1.09 avoid, being 378 instead of 384.

I just checked, I suddenly think this idea is really stupid. It completely screws over warriors. Why should the base stat matter?

Great news. I have 106 base DEX on my Hero. Let's hope that soon, new overpowered equipment and weapons will be made that require a high base DEX.

Seeing as my equips haven't really changed much since this level, what is my accuracy likely to be after the changes are implemented? (It is 169 in this picture, btw)

All acc/avd from equips -> %.

All you have to do is total the %, subtract from total acc/avd you see in window, and then multiply that by (1+ acc %).
