The I/L Arch Mage Build Thread.

I've heard that a Mage's Summons have as big of an impact on their damage a Hermit's Shadow Partner. If this is true, why do all these builds get Ifrit after Chain Lightning? o_0
Would an Ifrit be of any help at Newties for killing the one that spawns on the Blizzard Plat? :f6: (Blizzard Spammming, of course)

I heard someone say they got Maple Hero early on for more MP; would a 5% increase in INT really have that huge of an effect? A Lukless would have around 700 Magic by 120, right? Five percent is only 35 more INT, which comes out at not even four more MP a level. o_0 Would 35 more Magic even be noticable in your damage?

its quite bad for exp, especially in the later levels. however, meso and npc drops here can be used to fund your blizzard training elsewhere, making it worth doing if you don't have an alternate source of income. (but as butterfli said, it requires a pet)

So this is for when you're almost broke after blizzard eats all your money.

It could also be used as an easy source of money if you're saving up to buy a silver mane or something.

Don't know how it is in other Servers but in Bera there is also the chance to Leech train some people here, ive seen many mages just soloing and ppl come by and ask to Pay them to train them, this would just happen as i was watching ppl kill while i was lookin for a ch to train from 74-94 ish (yes its amazing exp i dont know why no guide says to train here.. but ya.. you can make this an alyternate income, the other people in this thread are saying you can make 3M an hr from drops and looting, and ive seen most leech buyers looking to pay 4-5M per hour so you can kick your money Per hour up possiblly to ~ 5-6M an hr(cause they would be looting some too inadvertantly) which is amazing @ any lvl

Hey, hey. For those of us who don't have hs and don't have a map to train on because level 7x and 8x ranged people take our training spots, 3mil exp an hour at late 13x is GAWDLY.

I'm sure there's plenty of people who enjoy training that isn't just holding down a key with an Autopotting Pet.
I know I'd opt for a Chain Lightning Build over Blizzard if I wasn't loaded/needed to update my gear.

If there is, I haven't found one. However, I still have a level 1 blizzard at 138. I maxed CL and currently maxing ifrit for my pap solo's. You might change your mind after doing that holding-down-one-key-training.

my plan is to get ID to 7, ifrit to 10 so it has a decent timer, then max CL and after that max ifrit. By the low 140s, I'll start working on MW/blizzard.

for all of you that say they are going to train with CL and ifirt and id and crap, thats what i did. nobody wants you in their parties cuz your too cheap to blizz (which is me)

If I wanted to level, I'd probably opt to Blizzard. However, since I have a bad habit of never owning more than five million, I'd probably train somewhere to make money. :x
