Is Global MapleStory dying?

I mean I know it sucks to be high level in Scania (the land of rampant e-cock, HT drama and general childish behaviour) but really now, over half of the high level population have quit? Sounds like an exaggerated estimate, but I have no major connections so I don't know for sure.

sure, in order to complete PB you need to buy wheels and hp wash, but who says just entering and fighting til PB isn't fun? you can get to ariel and possibly to PB itself w/out those two things.

I don't quite understand why anyone would do that. This is just a game after all, why take it so seriously to the point where you're practically willing to destroy another persons gameplay entirely for whatever petty reason? You can't justify that at all. People need to take it easy and just play the goddamn game, is that so hard? Evidently so. Glad I ignore the high level circle jerk that exists in Scania in that case.

While Nexon definitely sucks, the general community seems to suck harder. Whether Nexon is partially to blame for this or not, there's no doubt that's a contributing factor to the "death of maplestory" predictions we get at least once a year.

More like the smart players. All this junk happening this week is not good rep for Nexon one bit and really makes it hard to devote time/money to the game until it seriously gets straigtened out. I mean, the whole "Nexon Rainbow" thing a little while ago was amusing, but this whole "The players are wrong/there is no hacking epidemic" thing is not getting ridiculous.

A better comparison is drinking water. It's free, you can find a fountain and drink from it, but it is crap (and probably not very healthy). Or you could pay for a brita filter or get bottled water for a small amount. MS sucks with NX, I can agree to that much, but you don't NEED it. Drinking fountain water isn't going to kill you, just like play MS (without NX) won't kill you.
