[1.2.288] "Legend" Skill Strings

I've always wanted this in MapleStory and continue to be disappointed with every class doesn't have it. Even if it had a small 1 second delay I could live with it. I would also love to be able to use it mid-air too.

You sound surprised.

Oh joy! They even have Haste just like the rest of the Thieves do. Now all the Thieves will be bossed around by Party Skill kiddies like there's no such thing as a Thief that absolutely does not have Haste! Tongue

Mostly because in kMS, everything is permanent except pets, so this is the only way they can generate money from the current players. Also the reason Nexon's currently obsesssed with making new classes.

I realllllllllly think this class will use the combo system, or at least rely on comboing attacks together.

Quote:Fourth Job: "Blade 3" (Perhaps all of the Dash labels are placeholder names.)

1: Dash (1 SP to max)
- No skill strings attached. Obvious placeholder.

2: Dash Attack (1 SP to max)
- Same situation as Dash.

3: Flash (20 SP to max)
- MP -27, 140% damage, attacks 6 times

4: Dash (20 SP to max)
- MP -13 to jump a certain distance
- (Seems to be exactly like Flash Jump)

Those dash skills, remind me of the Aran hidden skills. Though they don't say hidden, assuming they aren't place holders, might change animations and alot of these "skills" just seem to be playing off eachother. Though, if they have both NL moves and Shadower moves, then I'm going to say these just be place holders. I hope. ><

How so?

They don't even get shadow shifter, let alone meso gaurd.

As a shadower, I cannot live without.

Chances are they'll get a "ton" of HP per level up like arans do. Or get a ton of avoid per luck point.

I was under the impression that this was a new thief adventurer class.

Patterns tell us it's a Legend. The only reason people think it's just a new adventurer class is because the job ID is 430 (Sin and dit are 420 and 410).
Too soon to know.

Nexon literally has no reason to start making new classes that AREN'T legends.

I believe it's basically going to be a branch off of Thief that you can get by doing some weird ass thing or having something strage happen to you. The question is if you choose to be this class beforehand or if you just choose it when talking to Mr. Upside-down.

What I think is that you start as a legend, but then you need to advance to a regular theif to basically start at square one for some sort of contrived BS. Then, since you are this legend-turned-to-thief, you can take the new job. THat is maybe why the first two jobs are so similar.

Nexon tends to eff up a lot tho. Sad

I wonder if they're gonna keep the skill percents like they are and rely on massive multiple hits (Seriously... Shadow Partner + Savage Blow?) to do damage.

I guess they want to make sure every new class benefits hugely from SE, @_@

Maybe they just couldn't think of a good way to start the legendary thief class and then someone was like HEY LET'S MAKE IT START LIKE A REGULAR THIEF NO ONE WILL EXPECT THAT. And then you'll inherit the skills of the legendary ninja, Naruto.

This is clearly addressed. Please read the entire first post.
