The First Anime You Watched

Pokemon but that seems to be every bodies first anime. Followed closely by Dragonball Z and Rounin Warriors. I loved watching those shows after getting home from school on Toonami.

I just checked if there was any on Youtube, and this episode title caught my eye.

My first anime was Sailor Moon way back in like 1994. A episode was being played at this store in a asian mall.

The first REAL anime I ever got to see was probably Cowboy Bebop.

I never watched pokemon. My parents wouldnt let me because they felt it went against their Christian beliefs (LOL) and me being the obedient young boy I was, I never watched it xD

First anime was probably Gundam Seed in dub. It was on a kids channel so I figured why not

I saw some DBZ and an episode or two of Sailor Moon a long time ago, but my first real anime was Fullmetal Alchemist.

Naruto for me.. I read the manga now (the anime got too draggy) xD

DBZ and Sailor Moon dubs... as for first undubbed anime, I -think- it was Evangelion.

Pokemon. And then immediatly afterwards Ranma 1/2, though at age 11 I think I was really too young for it. x3

EDIT: And who says pokemon, sailor moon, and DBZ arent -real- animes. They cartoons made in Japan are they not?

What I meant by that was the first anime I seriously watched, rather than just coming across it while flipping channels and stopping there. But also see the "anime you hate" thread for my opinion on those.

Sailor Moon..though I did see a few episodes of Dragonball around the same time...dunno if it was before or after =/

Very first? Pokemon was my first and only cartoon (I had no idea what anime was) up until I was about ten.

The first anime that I watched as anime, though, was Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Now the only one I can really watch is Cowboy Bebop, maybe Gungrave.

I never heard about any anime when i was kid. I watched pokeman when i was is 15 years old. Now i am watching Naruto anime.

Sailor Moon was my first, and I still love it ^^

Gegege no Kitaro, the 1985-1988 one. It was on the Japanese network every week...eventually I started watching Dragon Ball, too.

First one for me was Pokemon. Just plain and simple, before that I didn't watch anime.

I'm pretty sure it was either the original Dragonball for me or Ninja Scroll the movie.

Probably Pokémon for me, I'm almost sure of it.
