What happened between SW and SP?

I came here after seeing the thread on Basil about this site being blocked. I knew about it before then, but that's when I started giving up on Basil and its admin.

This and StrategyWiki. Knowing this place actively did extractions made me want to become a member. Unfortunately I was too late...

I came here for good when I asked someone (can't remember who D about this site...

AND ADURA/SOME OTHER MOD DELETED THE PM I SENT. Can't remember how I ended up contacting him, but it was... weird.

Seriously, it was a low move, and I didn't want to stay with a place ruled like a... KINDERGARDEN.

Except most of the people who you buy from or sell to never contact you in-game or won't respond to anything you say when you try to contact them.....

I came here because a friend told me how to escape Adura. When I did arrive it was great. I have been here ever since, and I always tell my friends about it.

I came here from Sleepywood because Sleepywood is ruled by an egotistic dictator./nottryingtoforumbash
I still use Sleepywood for the Social part(lurk), the Maple part is full of, eh, useless stuff.

I came here from FMS and haven't regretted it ever since.

I knew about a 'banned' maple site from a friend in Basil's warrior forum section. Apparently it is possible to contribute knowledge to the BM community too, just a lot harder.

So yea, he had to refer to us similar to how a Private Server Mapler would mention the server to me in-game: "Dark[something you lose in a deal with the devil]"

I was very intrigued when I followed the hint and found such a welcoming place.

I think i just came here because it was a maple forum (which i usually want to be part of) run by fiel and isaac (whom i respected a lot then and now).

Now mind some one telling us why does basil hate SP?

Basil doesn't. It's just MrB. He used to block this site because Fiel's extractions were illegal-ish, but now he just does it because he doesn't want any discussion of private servers ever. So he'll keep blocking this site, as long as Fiel keeps letting us talk about them.

There was this epic troll topic in basil someone made asking which map was the one with the ship to get to victoria island from maple island, that being southperry, which was a banned word. xd

I came here when I slowly realized how big a pomegranatehole Sleepywood became. When old members that I liked got banned, as well as Adura's questionable explanation for the DDOS attack, I knew Adura was an pimento. It also didn't help that somehow he must censor so much that anyone with common sense would realize something is amiss, or why MissPebs (of all people) somehow became a mod.

I don't know if you guys are aware, but the SW mods gave up on trying to block out the mention of the word Southperry like they used to before. I think they are far more busy dealing with the new influx of SW posters who essentially have filled their general page with locked and moved topics.

The mods even had to resort to posting "Please don't ask simple game questions here" on their general page. Karma.

i basically came here cus i only used it for the Broa section, which was way WAY worse than the mardia section here on southperry.
