What happened between SW and SP?

I'm not sure where this belongs so I put it here.

So..what happened between SW and SP? I remember many people here were active on SW, but one time SW were down, and people said Stereo attacked it for some reason, and I also heard some threads of certain people were deleted. So what exactly happened?

You can read up on some of the stories where Fiel writes his "diary" entries. Go search for it some time.

Here's the basic gist of it:
--Fiel was the main guy for extractions at sw.net. Adura noticed this, and asked for Fiel's extractor program. Fiel refused.
--Then Adura started questioning whether Fiel was involved in PSes (he perma-banned anyone that admitted to being involved in PSes at the time, dunno about now). Stuff happened, and Fiel was forever wiped out from sw.net
--Fiel established sp.net, and it was an MS forum with the extra perk of showing raw extraction data.
--Since many sp.netters were former sw.netters, a lot of references and localized memes specific to sp.net were leaked into sw.net. Adura obviously did not like this, and did what he did with any other unapproved website: blacklisted and censored it, and declared their mentioning illegal.


About Stereo DDOSing sw.net... I'm not sure what that was about. I do know a DDOS attack occurred though.

Sleepywood has Adura. Adura has dislike of Fiel. Fiel has like of new site and town named Southperry. Southperry has like of many people with the smartmakings. Sleepywood hasnot the retention of several other people with the smartmakings that has the likings of Fiel. Blammo.

Adura calls us "The Banished" and Fiel "The Banished One". If you search hard enough you'll be able to dig out old threads poking fun at SW, but I guess those won't be appearing anymore due to the new Forum Bashing infraction.

Yes, Fiel doesn't want us bashing SW, yet Adura still hates us. Irony.

I suppose you didn't like my efforts to preserve your more questionable actions in the power of anonymity that words can afford. But then again I suppose you're quite open about anything involving codes, programming, and computers. Also, you forgot to edit out the 4th point if you include mentioning of sp.net's origins in the 3rd point, of which you assumed to add.

From what I know about Stereo's DDOS attack, IIRC, an exiled mod mentioned that Adura deliberately took the site down, faking a DDOS and blamed it on Stereo. To a 13 years old kid, it's "monkey say, monkey do". They really believed Stereo did it. Any questions asked about it were either ignored, bashed or infracted/deleted.

There are however signs of inconsistency in what happened with the whole situation, so personally, I am pretty sure Stereo didnt do it.
