Woah, you had an interview? Like, were you applying to be a GM or something?

That's only a part of the picture though..... we have no concrete numbers on their costs/depreciation/debts. That's why I prefer a nice annual report.....most usually include all that data for investors. But I don't think we can invest in Nexon in the stock market. Hurt

That is correct. I applied for GM, and as it turns out, I was overqualified. My capabilities exceeded what they want in a GM. They are nice people, and fun. I got along great with them. But they knew I definitely couldn't settle for what they offered. Frown

I don't know if they have expanded by now.

Nexonjoe or whatever said 85% of their revenue(well a large percentage, high 80's) go solely into advertising.

Awww, sad story... Overqualified? What were they looking for exactly? xD I live in Washington so there's no way I could go and check personally xP

I'm curious, what was the interview like? (I know this is completely off topic to the thread, but oh well... lolz)

I don't think that matters since everyone'd like to know, lol.

Huh? You mean the fish commercial, or the web-banner-animations? No way in hell those cost several hundred million dollars.

Not the making of the commercials, but the cost of putting the ads probably.

Couldn't be that much, considering I only saw them 5 or 6 times over the period of 1 month, then never again. It's a waste, really, considering 90% of maple's new players are simply old players on new accounts. The other 10% is word of mouth adverts.

didnt nexon intend for all equips with slots to be hammered?

if anything this makes them more money. more hammers more ppl at ht more ppl buying charms and scissors. and the max stat is 255 or should be. and nexon kms/ jms knows what they are doing. this hammer is a gms invention i think.

just think Msea's 9slot items + hammers wouldn't that be overkill?

Yes, it would, but there's absolutely no reason why they would introduce the same mechanic into the game twice. Nor is there any hope for SEA/other versions in getting the hammers.

money rules the world. if you needed to make quick cash as a company introduce 9 slot items and throw a discount on hammers. if nexon gets greedy enough i could see it happening

Asiasoft*

Oh, you're talking about GMS for some reason. o.O They already realize there's more potential in hammers than there is in 9 slot gach items.

From my understanding, Nexon takes shortcuts on various things. One of those examples is the white-slating esq issue. This is pretty much analogous to that issue. I wont go into further details tho IMO it does look to be a side effect from releasing the hammer, and as modular said, they either announce it is a glitch or people abuse it.

Glitches are not plain black or plain white due to Nexon's hesitant and reluctant. One could argue that the Ewands were glitched and that bishops should be banned Tongue (it's a lighthearted statement, take it easy). Nexon didnt want to do that so they said "it is intended" while fixing issues.

MS after all is a donation service. You donate your money to them (in exchange for NX) to "obtain" premium features. They're a multi-billion dollars company because of customers. The excuse that Nexon cannot handle the massive amount of players are ignorance, intolerance and narrow-minded. Why? Nexon has repeatedly opted for solutions that are most beneficial to their pocket at the cost of suffering players. Any half decent mind saw what needed to be done, and suggestions were raised, however, full pocket comes first. Their "cashshop doesnt affect gameplay" motto got shattered long ago in order to fill up their pocket. Simply put, they should be alot better. Nexon has shown that it's possible financially due to geneousity from players. This is not the framework of a multi-billion dollars company.
