KoC can't get MoN >.<

IsaacGS Wrote:while this is really lame, it certainly does indicate some work on the Masteria storyline. Need to know WHY Cygnus are excluded from this. Logically speaking, The cygnus are fighting against the Black Magician, and according to the edited Magatia quest text, The Alchemist who was terrorizing Masteria was his disciple, so that's all the more reason to be involved in the goings-on at Crimsonwood.

One theory, right off the top of my head, was in the war between Krakia and Crimsonwood, the keep may have called for the help of the Cygnus Order, and was rejected?

Or maybe referring to that the evil in Crimsonwood is Naricain's doing, and that he has nothing to do with the Black Magician. The problems did all arise in/from Versal, did they not?

Dropping out of the storyline, maybe Nexon Korea decided not to allow any direct interaction, to preserve their control of the storyline?

Way too many questions. I demand answers!

Doesn't matter, as cygnus and adventurers don't share storage anyway.

Damnit Devil's Sunrise I hate you signature.

Keeps making me think I've posted things I didn't post.

I don't get why everyone still thinks 52 stat HT pendants is a glitch.

Until Nexon says something, I firmly believe there's nothing wrong with it.

The one reason I believe it is this way is that they have the quest set to only be usable with 3 slots for a reason. I refuse to give Nexon the credit of considering someone could drop their Pendant to 2, and then push it back to 3. Would easily be fixed if they also made a check for Vicious Hammer upgrades.

Yeah I checked it too, and the message says "You're a cygnus knight and can not enter this party quest".

I think it's just a Nexon quick fix, because they would have to manually (ohhhhh extra work for Nexon :')...) add cygnus job id's. This way they can add the CwKPQ later for cygnus and aran in a later patch when they have more time.

Btw, this will mean Aran's won't be able to do CwKPQ too, at least in the beginning...

That quote means very little. Nexon obviously didn't see the loophole in HT pendant scrolling, otherwise I'm pretty sure the way it is coded would have changed. And don't you dare take the 'it's not a glitch until Nexon says it's a glitch' attitude, you hypocrite.

Nexon probably just did something like
Code:
bool CanScrollPendant()
{
if(pendant.slots < 3)
    return false;
return true;
}
And since vicious hammers add slots, you can re-scroll it because the game thinks it hasn't been scrolled yet.

Since I don't know C coding but I know what youre getting at... Why wouldnt they do this:

C -> Visual Basic (Only language I know ^_^''
Code:
Private Sub ScrollHTPendant()
If Pendant.Slots < 3 Then
    Pendant.Scrollable = False
Else
    Pendant.Scrollable = True
Endif
End Sub
Add like.... 1 more variable to your array (Not hard considering each item has like (X, # of Stats) dimensions
Code:
Private Sub ScrollHTPendant()
If Pendant.Slots < 3 and Pendant.Hammered = 0 Then
    Pendant.Scrollable = False
Else
    Pendant.Scrollable = True
Endif
End Sub

You're totally going to ByRef a Boolean value out of that sub, right?Wink

Leave it to Nexon to not think to change the values in their system to counteract the minds of the people who play this game. It may be based for younger audiences, but come on, even an 8 year old could have figured out the concept of 3-1+1=3.

GG Nexon.

Ok guys, because Nexon hasn't said that BF isn't supposed to be poisoned, that means that it's ok to!

Opeth, if they wanted us to scroll 52 stat pendants, they would let us use 3 eggs without a hammer. This is obviously a glitch, and even without nexon saying so you should assume anything fishy is a glitch.

Inb4 Nexon consparicy theorists say it's to get more $$$

I'm more curious on how they would fix it. I mean are they planning to fix the glitch and allow glitchers to keep the item? I don't know how they could unless they changed individual pendents back to 21 stats and gave them compensation for the hammers. Why do they even have 3 slots anymore anyway, unless they are planning to give us 104+ per stat pendents i dont see the point.

Don't all scirssorable items have that orange text "Allows a single trade with use of Scissors of Karma" or some jazz like that?
