Girls : At what age did you get your first period?

I'm a guy but of the girls whose time of menarche I know, ages were 10, 10, 11, 12, 14. Wikipedia says the avg is 12.5, for what it's worth.

I think I was like 13, and it was weird because my whole little group of friends all got it at the same time. I guess it's true about girls who hang out for a long time have their periods at the same time? IDK. Oh yeah, I was sooo scared about TSS too and wouldn't use tampons until I was in grade 10. xD

I stopped getting it for whatever reason, and the doctors I went to can't figure it out. So I have to take birth control to get a period.

I didn't get it yet.

Maybe the fact that I'm a man has something to do with it.
