I miss 7th grade or so, when I woke up at friggin 5:00 AM or so in the morning every day before school, turning on my TV and my VCR, and waiting until Zoids: Chaotic Century was on, and then I'd record it! Fuuuuuuuuck, those were the days! >_____<

Agree with ya there.
Not to mention the awesomeness that was Avatar until it ended.
I am glad that they show a few of the older cartoons I grew up with (Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes were the pomegranate at the time) on Boomerang. I can't say that much for the older Nick cartoons, though. (Rugrats and Doug come to mind.)

i come from the age when scooby doo and flinstones were still played everyday on cartoon network and not just occasionally on boomerang.. the days when you couldnt wait for every friday to come to get that new lineup of brand new episodes of nick cartoons like rugrats, wild thornberries and yes.. Rocket Power! i even watch cartoons like smurfs and snorkels all the time. and even secret squirrel and 2 stupid dogs. sadly, when cartoon network and nick started to show -braces self for hate- all these anime-type shows, is when i stopped.. the only 'anime-type' shows i EVER watched was pokemon and digimon, and the occasionall dragonball Z only because my little brother watched it and i had no choice. B>ch on TV with all the good shows on it ;/

When I went to Dallas, I tried to soak in as much of Adult Swim and Comedy Central as I could.

But of course, the old episodes were better... except for the Sandle Castle War episode <3
Spongebob sucks now.
It used to be about a manic depressive sea sponge with crappy friends that had funny humor and suggestive jokes that fly over average kids' heads.
Now it's about a gay sponge and a gay starfish laughing and flailing arms.

I disagree, cartoons now have improved since the old days.
In the old days they had freaking scooby-doo marathons and imo the flintones and jetsons were a piece of crap. everybody seems to forget that the majority of cartoon network shows were tom and jerry flintones jetson and scooby doo which in my opinion are ALL crappy shows ( tom and jerry was ok). Now there's chowder, Flapjack and johnny test. I'm not saying that these are great shows, but they are better than those old school boring shows. Now if we were talking about ANIME then, i would be wrong because toonami was the pomegranate, and i watched every show on that betch like dbz, outlaw star, ruroni kenshin, yu yu hakusho (<--adult swim version was better) and even sailor moon. If you guys really miss the old stuff there's always that Boomerang channel

The few that don't suck back then were real gems though. I won't lie that there are quite a few bad shows back then. Like a...... Pac-Man cartoon.

I dislike how Cartoon Network is trying to show "real shows"
If I wanted to watch real shows, I'd watch MTV.
GIVE ME MY CARTOONS.
Plus they run the same cartoons over and over, I cannot stand that Johnny Test show.
fffffffffff

I do like all the stuff on AS though. :3

Yea, I wish they kept shows like Fosters and Camp Lazlo for a little while longer instead of "Brain Rush" and "Destroy, Build, Destroy", etc. There just not that funny and are boring. Flap Jack and sometimes Chowder are the only good ones.

The CNReal stuff really pisses me off. I know that kids nowadays are more stupid, but I still can't see why they wouldn't watch the real thing on another network over some shitty knockoff with kids.

I disliked those remade ones. :/

the kids that were agents? D:
I forgot the name of the show but it was so funny.
Also, the Fridays thing?
With the fat guy and the black girl.

Kids Next Door. Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. It wasn't really a show, per se. They just talked between the real shows.
