Damage Reflect

If experience tells us anything (and assume I know nothing about DR, which isn't true) PG will probably bypass DR completely, just the way it bypasses super def.

He means brandishing while PGing, so that you'd do both PG and BD damage. Would he get hit with both the reflect from PG and brandish, or just the first one?

I don't think you get invincibility frames after getting hit by reflect, so...yeah. Prolly both. Confirmation anyone?

[color="#cc8899"]DR activates from you damaging the monster. It stacks with damage from the boss (it doesn't activate invincibility for you). Hurricane arrows stack and can quickly kill a bowmaster (I don't know if each arrow = a hit, but I know the damage will rack up very quickly). So, basically, since PG damages Lilynouch, you'd take not only the touch damage but the DR as well. What I'm asking is if it's possible to add even more damage by using an attack as your PG activates and take damage from 3 sources at one time.

Also, while we're on the subject, do hurricane arrows EACH cause DR to activate, or do you only take it every 2 arrows, every 4, etc?[/COLOR]

I'm headed to Lilynouch atm (I'm in NLC) and I'll only test the PG aspect of DR, since I've never actually PGed it while DRed, and 9k damage is quite close to fatality for me. I can say BanHammer still does its job, although I get DR damage xD

Ok....when Lilynouch casted Reflect...I've hugged him with PG on and not taken any dmg =/

At least I'm pretty sure...I didn't take anything out of the ordinary.

No, but if you're not attacking you won't. From what you're saying PG damage doesn't activate DR, good to know I guess.

EDIT: Results! In each of these SSes, I had full HP before taking damage.

Easiest way to tell is if you take more than 3.5k damage (20% reduct on appx 4k damage), especially anything more than 5k (3.5 + 1.5). I crouch-poked and still took 1400-2000, so damage done is insignificant. I can, however, say that Sacrifice + touch damage + DR = ouch.

Ok, good to know - otherwise Heros and Pallys would constantly be in danger of killing themselves. Now the question is if Energy Charge bypasses it too...

I was told no, just one DR damage. I made a thread asking this in the Amherst forum xD

Barrage counts as a single attack, so you'd take damage once. The only attacks that would rapidly add up DR damage would be double shot, hurricane, and rapid fire.[/COLOR]

You'd only be doing 1's, so you wouldn't be healing much.

The way it works is if an attack connects with the monster, you just get reflected back a set amount of damage within a range (lilynouch's is 1250-2750). You could hit it with a level 7 beginner that would obviously miss yet still get damage reflected back (though technically the "miss" would be 1 since all damage is set to 1).
