You can see, I am an archer, breaking down warrior equipment, and getting monster crystals out of it.

didn't want to make a new thread for this, and this seemed like a good enough place to ask.. does anyone know the exact effects of a stimulator? like how much of a stat it can add or subtract, and the percentage of each? I'm making a reverse blindness soon and I wanted to see if a stimulator would be worth risking over 400m in other items.. >_<

up to +-5 to all stats, same as a chaos scroll. i dont know probabilities. i dont think any one knows, but there might be a chaos scroll thread around here somewhere that tries to get probabilities and i would imagine stims are similar. if you are a high hands class it probably is worth it since hands is supposed to reduce stim failure.

hmm okay. for some reason I couldn't remember if it was +-3 or +-5. the stimulator is mainly worrisome for me because some shoes I was making with one failed in the past, but as a captain I guess I shouldn't worry about it so much since I have a really high hands stat.

thanks!

when you wear it you will have the option to forge shoe spike scrolls and warm cape scrolls in the maker skill.

sry...but i dont quite get it..mind explaining in more details? how special are those 2 items? their stats? is it related to quest?

Shoe spike scroll - 10% success, makes you not slip in El Nath
Warm cape scroll - 10% success, makes you not lose hp from cold in El Nath

They don't use slots so you can use them on any shoe/cape.

It would be nice if the item that had this effect was shown...

If you use a diamond while making a weapon, will the diamond always add 1,2,3 attack? or is there a % chance of working?

Low grade = +1 att
Mid = +2
High = +3

...I know, my question was is there a % chance of it working.

No, they work 100%. Their +bonuses are applied in the forging without fail or variance. Stimulators or Black/Dark Crystals are the things that can do funky things.

Just a quick question on how stimulators work. Do they add [-5 ~> +5] atks to a weapon's basic atk range (which is a base random [-5 ~> +5] fluctuation)?

Say, for example, a Pinaka's avg atk is 102, which means its atk ranges from 97 to 107, when made via Maker, outcome will be 97~107 supposedly.
Implementing a stimulator (though not so wisely) supposedly adds [-5 ~> +5] atk to a whatever-something, does this mean outcome will be a 92~112 clean Pinaka randomly?
With the assist of Highgrade Diamond, this will be 95~115 hopefully, which is actually worth the risk in my opinion. 110 clean + 7 60%s sounds more plausible to me than 4 straight 30%s; then again, it could be that I don't have enough balls for 30%s, or they just ahbor me.

I never really made weapons before, nor did I come across anyone confused about this same issue as I am. Answers will be appreciated. Smile

If there was a % chance of working i would have said it, wouldn't i? Your first question was if it always adds 1/2/3 attack.
