What are opposites?
You might say the opposite of up is down, or the opposite of black is white.
Why isn't the opposite of up, left or right? Or the opposite of black, green or purple? Same category stuff...
You might say that opposites must be a complete flip/reflection or something.
What about other stuff like... Whats the opposite of the sun? If you were taking it from an earthling's perspective, it would be the moon. But after science and stuff we know that these aren't even in the same category nor are they a complete flip. The sun is a star and the moon is a rock, and everything revolves around the sun, but no big-stuff-category things revolve around the moon. So based on this, its all up to your own interpretation right?
opposite of... green? apple? flashlight? firehydrant? tree?
i guess its either up to your own interpretation, or they aren't assigned opposites.
What would you say...
