Does SP really have that many lurkers?

I was pretty bored, blankly staring at my monitor while I was on SP's General Maplestory board, and I started looking at the viewcounts. That MSea one had 10k and I was like oh man that's a lot of views, and then I looked at the Time Temple thread which was created YESTERDAY and it had like 2k views! hot dayum!

Intrigued, I skedaddled on down to sleepymorningwood and compared the viewcounts of General Maplestory boards, and we actually have MOAR LURKERS. What makes SP a better source of Maple information?

SW is better known and older. However, there's a lot of things wrong with it and they don't hesitate to perma ANYBODY. The staff is often rude, and even to my casual eyes Adura plays favorites; in a thread where they were trolling women (all women) Adura told one of the trolls named so and so to message him or he'd have to perma the guy. In SW most people just get permaed, and for MUCH less.

I post on SW here and there but I am not a huge fan. And if they perma ME for saying naughty things about SW on another forum, I wouldn't put it past them. Not that I'd care much. It would be like being banned from a cow's ass.

I haven't seen ANYONE permabanned recently without a good cause. Yes, there have been accidental bans but we actually do attempt to find out the truth.

One or two people != the entire staff. And yes, something will be done about the unnecessary rudeness.

wtp. Adura told someone to message him or he'd ban the "troll" from the lolms forum, and he wasn't being serious. The entire thread was a joke on a stereotype.

We aren't perfect but we don't ban people "for no reason" like so many people seem to believe. God damn. And no, you aren't getting banned for talking about them on another forum >_>

While I really don't have many great things to say about the second generation of the SW administration team (save for a couple moderators), Fiel has already voiced his desire to keep forum-bashing to a minimum. However, I don't believe the thread you're referring to was meant to be taken for anything more than humor, crude as it may seem.
