Typhons map nerf
#21
MasPan Wrote:The map is still really good for an 8x DK with a combination of roar + fury (provided you have the acc to hit them)

So good that every DK in Bellocan comes to Typhons during 2x events, but when it is 1x, not one is to be found...

Always get knocked off, most of the times due to Corkscrew or missing the rope Sad
Then those Marauders suck at it.

At most, mine falls once an hour.

Amen to this.
If an IL can cling to that cleft/ledge for dear life and grind away happily and successfully surely anyone can. Even the more "limited" melee classes can hop around the map, poke them, and lure them back there to safety to finish them off.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

That's what I did. If the middle platform had none on it, I'd go for a very careful walk around the map. I didn't fall that often.

Getting knocked off due to Corkscrew seems rather hard, actually, considering all the invincibility frames you get. Missing the rope... well, everybody can do that, not just Marauders. If you miss ropes too often, you're probably doing something wrong.

Question:
Did they modify the maps so that typhons no longer hover at the bottom? Or is that still the same? =/

The removal of the left wall doesn't really do much. One part of the wall is actually permeable. >_< I remember luring and getting thrown through the wall multiple times.
