All things in time.As you can see from the costs though, these taxis aren't really worth using and they don't take you anywhere near far enough. 45k to move through 6 horizontal El Nath maps? Those are the easiest part of the trek to zombies! The leafre one literally only takes you 4 maps. You can walk there in about 30 seconds and not even pass any monsters. Don't even get me started on Ludi, all you do is press up a few times. The whole system's a complete waste because of that. Hopefully, if they did implement a Crimsonwood one, it'd only take you to the foot of the JQ, and it wouldn't be that expensive. I don't really think they will though, that drastically removes the difficulty of wandering the forest for quests and such, and Nexon wanted that stuff there for a reason. (though, if it means I don't have to walk through forgotten path any more, I'm all for it)

The map would still be useful if they jacked the price up high enough. I'm sure people would pay to skip the forgotten path to get to WRs faster, especially classes who can't survive phantom wraiths.

Enter it. -Make your way to the Stone gate thing that you needed the Map for. Enter it. -Enter the second Stone gate thing. -??? -Profit.

I honestly don't understand why everyone views them as such a problem. Is it because some classes can't get by them solo at really low levels, like 5x? Come on. A) Find a friend to help you. B) Find a random, kind person to help you. C) Try different channels and hope for good luck (there isn't always Elderwraiths up there or like one-two sometimes). D) Simply WAIT until you have enough HP to take a hit (or get HP gear to save some levels). It shouldn't even be a problem. And if someone really can't do any of those four things, and they REALLY want to train on Windraiders, there's always the top of the Crossroads maps. I have a guildmate that's already trained there from 53-72 because he finds it more convenient than going to LA. Obviously you get less exp, but it's almost guaranteed safe and quick to access (and no drama/KS during events). If someone can't do any of those four things and really wants to do the quests up there right away, well...then they can try harder or suck it up and level more.

I agree, but that's not why i want it. What i said was simply a point for it coming into the game. (there's still 8x archers that can't take a wraith hit that want to train on typhons though)It'd help me get up to CWK in general. Typhons, NSs, etc are all coming up for me, and though i can take hits (almost none using barrel) it'd be very convenient to have a taxi bring me halfway for a small fee.

Be creative, if necessary. Well, definitely. I don't disagree it'd be handy. However, I don't think we need all these lazy taxis. No place in the game really takes that long to get to. Sometimes I think people would be most happy with a central hub that just had warps to every town and awesome training spot in the game... I like the feeling of being in an expansive world, even if it means suffering a boat ride or a few minute walk every now and then.

Well yeah, but a character shouldn't really be able to be ohko'd on the way to the best training they have till 110+, lol. Rangers have bomb to stun them, but that's about it. Not exactly the best solution. That's why the price is there. Some will take it and some won't. I don't mind walking, it's just not something i want to do for most situations. (this coming from the guy who back in 07 walked all around victoria instead of using the taxi because of inefficient funds, rofl) Best example is 2x, and other times that require great haste. :/

Well, I agree that people need to enjoy the walks sometimes BUT the boat rides are terribly annoying. It's so hard to get back into the game if you quit for months and find yourself in like ludibrium or orbis and want to go to leafre or something and know you're going to have to immediately sit through half an hour boat riding. Not only that, but the Vic <-> Orbis boat ride you can't even afk during until it's moving which is pretty dhudahadsds. They need to offer you to move directly to the interior from the port. Though it is very amusing to see low levels annihilated by Crimson Balrog's

Not exactly the best solution. This I do disagree with. For such an amazing training spot, they should have to make some sacrifices or deal with extreme danger to reach it. We used to manage with MUCH worse %/h training spots. Now there's incredible maps out there with almost no added difficulty for using them (resulting in old spots = completely obsolete). I'm actually glad to see a little struggle in reaching CWK. Higher reward, higher risk. It's very rare to have logic in MS, so we shouldn't wish it gone.

It's just Gunslingers and archers who are left standing on the other side going, "Hey guys, what about me?" Just doesn't seem particularly fair that it's only a problem for one class. |
