Think again! Contrary to popular belief, these quests do have a prerequisite - finishing Yulete's Request No, it's actually "Helping Yulete" at Angry Frankenroid - thanks Orit. Just wanted to inform those who don't know.

Well, it wouldn't really make sense to have the quests available if the Alcadnos and Zenumists still hated each other, which is what saving Yulete solves, apparently.

It doesn't really resolve that, it's just that Yulete realizes he's not the only one who wants to see it end and the Zenumist and Alcadno research combined (Romeo and Juliet would obviously be in this group, and Keeny as well). The other members of the factions are still fighting so romeo and juliet have to keep things quiet (Which is sort of why they're using you as a proxy)

Either way there was no prerequisite listed in the data, this is some NPC script trickery :/

Really? At the beginning of the first quest, Romeo says something about the Alcadnos and Zenumists allowing him and Juliet to date, which is why he asks you to help him make flowers.

While the healing process has definitely begun with this completed, the town's far from saved.

No, you talk to him on the Zenumist side of the PQ, where he serves as the guiding NPC and you have to save Juliet.

Awww. Does that mean those over 85 cant do the quests?

Actually, the prerequisite is just to do the Angry Frankenroid/Help Yulete version of the MPQ. Once my party did that and popped back out in Romeo's waiting room, we saw the lightbulb over his head. (And it took me a few seconds to convince the other party members to go check if Yulete's Lab is open, they all wanted to do Romeo's quest right away).

Oh, I never looked in my quest section until after I did all of Yulete's stuff. I'll change that now.
