A Look at Monster Book

I found a Neo Huroid card a few days ago too, so they're definitely still dropping. I hope they count, this will give me a 4 card head start. XD

I hope you are right... Now, I have 6 homunsculo cards... So the 5 card set should be done now.

Sorry for Necro Posting here (if i am at all) but i just wanted to mention - as it wasn't explained in your guide thing - is that every time you get a new card, the picture for the monster will change. It will include moving, usually an attack, it getting hit, and it dying all in one animation.

Also, in regards to this:

• There's a pretty cool effect that appears over your head each time you loot a card. Everyone nearby will know when you get one :p
  

Other people cannot see the effect on your head. I just saw someone pick up a card a second ago and I saw no effect.

if it's in KMS, then it's because they already had 5 cards, if it was GMS that's a glitch, but I know I've seen people pick up cards and have that effect.

I got a scorpion card in global while training during 2x exp with my friend. He had no idea what it was

I know I have seen about 4 cards drop from the Angry Boss in MPQ when I was pqing on my pirate.

Zakum card would be pro for gold teeth.

I hope when GMS will make cards from Masteria mobs they do them similar to this from kms

Wow, the other version cards do look a lot worse... Well, I'm not that concerned about it, I'd rather have ugly cards than no cards.

Double-click character, Monster Book tab.



Looks like that... not really a cover, more like a way to show off a card you got. Also, the Monster Book opens to the Monster you have selected as your cover.

If you click on someone, and look at their character info, it now has Monster Book next to their Taming Mob and pet data. Check that tab, and it'll tell you what level their book is and what the cover monster is. You can't actually *view* it, but it will tell you what it is.

Oooh is that all, I thought you saw an image the size of the Monster Book with a Mano or whatever on the front...guess I was expecting a bit much.

I'm not sure I should even need to ask this, but..
I'm compiling a Monster Book guide for GameFAQs, and I want to use, at the very least, the card effect list (since it'll take forever to manually get them all).
I'm going to do the rest of the stuff by scratch, though obviously it'll be very similar to what's posted here.

I can do that, yes? Huge credit will obviously go to you, Isaac, but a certain troll over there was just being troll-like, which brings me to ask permission (though I may not even need to.)

That's straight from the game data, so it's not like it's really mine. though, if I were making this post again right now, I'd probably go get the MapleSEA monster book data because it's a lot more complete than GMS's at the moment. That and, you know, this list doesn't have some of the newer monsters in GMS on it.
