Uh, does it really disconnect everyone else?

Yeah...i'd say that's high priority too, as much as i hate to admit it.

honestly. I've played games where it takes -years- to work out certain bugs or errors in the game. it's a free game that caters to millions of users around the world , with a staff that isn't very large. you are all like spoiled children.

The thing is, bug like the Capt. Latanica bug, work just fine in other MS, still a full time tespia, like KMS would solve lots of problem.

With KMS's current state of ruin, i'm not so sure i agree with you.

Plus, our players are much more...childish when it comes to testing.

And if a company would keep a bug in a game for that long, wouldn't they have at least had enough evidence to acknowledge it? And isn't it the company's job to let their players know about bugs, especially if they're game-breaking or potentially game-breaking.

Then again, certain companies such as EA and Nexon have yet to understand the "acknowledge that their games have bugs" part though. Tongue

I'm pretty sure that these people just want this particular feature to work. And I'm sure they're not going to desperate lows such as fits of violence or suicide. Isn't that hard to ask for something to work properly? Not to mention that bugs like that and the glitched Weddings have been bugged for months.

This latanica bug is really frustrating to me. He's one of the few major bosses you can solo before 4th job.

Then again, they could also try copying Papulatus' portal script because it works the same way it SHOULD work Capt. Latanica's one.

and then people call me the nexon basher...

nexon sucks, and we all know it. private servers > real maple, and thats why nexon were so afraid of them and killed them all. look at other online games. there are tons of private servers, and no1 cares about it.

I'd welcome 10, looks like 2 (Hime and NxProse) from the posts on Nexon's board.Rolleyes

In what way is it "major"? he has less health than HH. And it's definitely not before 4th for archers and thieves, because Latanica can still OHKO me (and likely will for at least 10 more levels.)

The only things that really makes it "major" for me are it's drop, the fact that it's a boss with a pre-quest, and it's summonable.

JoeTang Wrote:Oh. So since there's minor bugs in the game, everyone will completely disregard and ignore the major ones and peach about the ones that don't matter? Great business strategy.

People gonna complain either way. Even if MS was a 100% fully functional game, it pleased everyone, and everyone was happy, people would still complain and it's just disgusting.

@Capt Latanica glitch: I agree it should be fixed, but i bet once it is fixed, after you do your quest, which the majority of people probably don't even care about, I'm curious how often you'll actually go back and kill it.

Nexon is always unreliable...

If i'm not wrong, when we had that glitch in MSEA when Latanica was first out, it was fixed in a couple of days.

If i could kill it once (assuming that i could survive not that i could get the chance) i would kill it many times over, heck its an alternative to pap....

Yup.
It's not like Capt. Latanica is the first time Nexon tried to implement a room that is locked as long as there's a party inside, but needs to unlock and reset once they leave. Heck, even the mini-dungeons are like that (although the contents don't reset). Why is it so damn hard for them to get Latanica's room to work right?

Someone told me that Nexon considers Capt.Latanica "fixed" because they implemented something that unlocks that room every night at midnight (which is why the error message has been changed to talk about 24 hours). I haven't tested this hypothesis.

Does Nexon America even have game programmers? They might just get all programming from Korea. Not like that would prevent them from getting a fix from Korea within 3 months though...
