Once again, NEXON lied to their users: Captain Latanica bug - Combattente - 2009-01-23
It may seem incredible, but, if you didn't try it yet, I can confirm that Captain Latanica's bug is still there after PATCH 0.61. They made 3 patches and 3 months passed, and they couldn't yet fix the Captain Latanica's bug.
Sometimes NEXON's incompetence seriously disappoints me. HOW is it hard to fix a simple bug like that???
You would say: "How can you know that it's simple? It could be hard!"
Well, I have some experience with Private Servers (not much but whatever) and even if Private Servers' structure isn't obviously the same as Official servers', I can tell it's just a script to fix. A simple script, just a few lines of it.
And even if it's harder-to-fix than I thought (I seriously doubt it), come on... taking MORE THAN 3 MONTHS to fix a bug like that???
Private Servers would fix it in less than a day, and thinking that people from Private Servers don't get paid for their work and aren't professionals.. NEXON workers are, and they get paid also. They should be experienced enough to fix bugs like this in one day or max. two, but no, 3 months passed and nothing. And they also "promised" us that they would've fixed it.. didn't they?
Well, they lied to their users again also.
Maybe a reason because it isn't fixed yet is because they tried to fix it, changed something in the code and thought that it'd have worked without even testing it. They should read bug reports on their forums anyway.. and this confirms they doesn't. Because if they did, this bug would've been fixed from a while now. If they are so incompetent they can't fix a bug like this, they seriously should hire more professional coders.
tl;dr: NEXON lied to their users once again, telling us that they would have fixed the bug many months ago, but apparently they still didn't.

Regardless, this doesn't concern me 100% since I don't have to fight it yet!

Apperantly they've at least made an attempt at fixing it. The text from when you try to enter changed from "the battle is still in progress" to " you may have already enetred in the past 24 hours".
but still, 3 months is waaaaay too long. Only thing you can do now is wait outside a map before a server check. X3
