Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire announced

So hmm, lemme think.

Non-Event Legendary Pokemon in X and Y:
Gen 1: Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Mewtwo
Gen 6: Zygarde, Xerneas, Yveltal

So that means that the Legendaries available in ORAS will be:
Gen 2: Raikou, Suicine, Entei, Ho-Oh, Lugia
Gen 3: Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza
Gen 4: Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Cresselia, Heatran, Regigigas
Gen 5: Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem.

I imagine they'll be split up between the 2 games though.

It's a lot of legendaries... but does anyone really care about legendaries at this point? I suppose the best part about this is that all of those legendaries will have 3 perfect IV's now.

The 10 year old me stopped caring in Gen 3 when they added in so many Legendary pokemon.

They are a collection piece I am sometimes willing to go after, but I usually just prefer using my favourites and randoms I find along the journey.

That's just my opinion though.

I've always enjoyed just catching legendaries. The fact they're adding all of them into ORAS excites me greatly.

Mega Pidgeot looks awesome and really hope it makes him PvP viable. It's always been my favorite flying Pokemon.

Speaking of Bee pokemon, we need a Mega Vespiquen. It's absurd that such a hard to get pokemon which has so many unique moves is so terrible.

It would be awesome if she gained her own ability too, that changes her mega form depending on which -Order she uses, so her mega evolution has 3 different forms that change depending on whether she uses Attack, Heal or Defend Order.

It would make her varied and somewhat unpredictable.

I pray the 3D flying isn't just for Mega Latias. Please let me be able to fly 3D on my Articuno... or Mega Pidgeot!!!

Mega Rayquaza’s official artwork has been revealed on another CoroCoro page. It doesn’t appear new information has been revealed about the Mega Evolution however.

The bottom left corner of the page also shows a teaser poster for the next Pokemon movie, though the preliminary title of the film can’t be read right now. The movie’s poster features Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, and Mega Rayquaza.

The Pokenav is now called the “Multinav” and has expanded functionality. It now has the features of Pokemon Amie and the Player Search System and lets you find hidden Pokemon.

There's a rumor going around that Mega Flygon, Jirachi, Solrock and Lunatone have yet to be announced, and that you get Solrock/Lunatone megas in the demo depending on the demo code you get. So there's still hope... If that's true. The person who said this claims to have "insider info", so honestly take it with a grain of salt. It can be completely false, but don't give up hope lol. Mega Milotic is also a possibility they said, but they said the 4 mentioned above they know for sure.

A lot of these look pretty cool, and every new announcement of late has only been an even bigger cherry on top for the game, TBH. So whether or not any/all of these are actually true or not won't change the fact that I will have the game day one and believe it will be just as good as X/Y if not better.

Reminder that the demo is available tomorrow.
For those of you in the US, it has been announced that the codes are to be given out through a club nintendo newsletter. So if you haven't ticked the box to receive them, you are boned.

Also the official site has been updated with news on Mega Pidgeot, Mega Beedrill, the Sugimori art for Mega Rayquaza, Mega Latias and Latios (which apparently aren't roaming pokemon anymore and have their own sidequest), the mascot legendaries from previous gens and details on the multinav feature.

Interestingly, Milotic and Shiftry have shown up yet again in battle screenshots showing off mega evolutions. It is so transparent that all the pokemon they are showing in these screenshots/videos will be getting mega evolutions (or already have them), so rejoice!

Also 2 Mega Evolutions have been leaked in the demo!
