Those steelbook editions are for europe, not just the UK.
No idea if they're available to people outside of europe though. Seems not.

Just pre-ordered the Alpha Sapphire Steelbook edition from the Nintendo Store. I thought it would probably be cheaper buying it from Game, but it turns out the Steelbook Edition at Game cost a whole £15 more than the game itself, while on the Nintendo Store it was only about £5 more. If anyone in the UK is planning on getting the Steelbook edition, order it now from Nintendo in case they bump the price up!
