Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire announced

I like how Mega Altaria is EXACTLY what a lot of us were expecting. Dragon/Fairy with Pixilate, I like it. That pokemon is going to be an absolute beast. Doesn't look how I expected though. I don't hate it, it just isn't very exciting.

Mega Lopunny was a pleasant surprise, didn't expect that one. It looks pretty cool and I like its type change.

Mega Salamence... i'm on the fence about. I don't think I like its design. It getting a mega was so obvious it doesn't really feel like a surprise at all, and i'm actually a little disappointed with what we got. eh.

Contests: meh.

If I ever encounter a Mega Altaria with Cotton Guard I think I'll just put my 3DS down and start crying on the spot.

Mega Altaria doesn't look anything like I'd imagine it to have been, but I still love how goofy the design looks. Heck, you could hide some Mareep/Flaaffy in those wings/that tail. I'm honestly hoping Altaria gets its stats rebalanced as well as getting a Mega Evolution, since it has such lackluster stats.

Mega Salamence is just... odd-looking, to be honest. Not a fan of how its wings are connected at the end and whatever's on its belly now. Ability is nice, since it finally gives Salamence some decent Flying-type attacks (Return and Double-Edge come to mind), though I'm not sure it's worth losing Intimidate or Moxie.

I always loved Gen III Contests so I'm glad to see them back after the horror show that was Super Contests, and the weird Pokemon Musical.

I really like Mega Altaria. Altaria has always been one of my favorites from Hoenn.
