Between this and Peria Chronicles, it would seem korean developers are starting to see potential in the Minecraft crowd.

I wonder why people say it looks like Super Mario 64 out of all the Mario titles? Personally I think it looks like a combination of Super Mario 3D land + Minecraft + Spiral Knights ether ways I'm very excited to see how this plays out. (Also it looks a lot better than Mabinogi 2: Arena a.k.a Vindictus 2)

if i'd have to say it's because of the scope, most of these 3D games you can't really see too far away, but on this one the scope of view just reminds me of 64 massively.

I would pass some kind of judgment but there really isn't enough of anything to be like yaaaas or nah.

Didn't Nexon KR specifically state that MS2 will not be a huge pay2win machine like MS1 is? if p2w isn't a problem then I don't really see how Asiasoft could sink its dirty fangs into this. Other than just randomly banning you guys for absolutely no reason. Not that NexonNA doesn't have that problem or anything

True enough. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. At the same time, though, i think the MS1 woes will just make everyone jump ship the second MS2 even LOOKS like it's going on the same route.

Looks cool and all and I'm going to reserve judgment. Kind of like what they're doing. Gives both games a unique style.

To be fair, P2W isn't the only way AsiaSoft has screwed MSEA. Just look at the thread going on in Maplestory Discussion right now. And it's not the first non-p2w related complaint thread about MSEA we've had before, there's plenty of them in The Angry Dome.

So is this NexonKR admitting that MS1 is a pay2win game? I truly hope the development team of MS2 takes note of successful free2play games and follow their suit. Because I truly do have fun on DOTA and it's very much f2p. In fact they had me more shocked than anything else coming from MS of the amount of stuff, how well designed, etc. Maybe f2p mmorpgs are just always doomed to fail? is successful f2p dependent on the genre of the game?

TBH Nexon did a great job at "making the players want to spend money on it" on cash shop equipments and flashy effects... the "Pay Wall" would probably be gachapon tickets and more recently, cubes.
