The teaser website is finally here. Beta is expected to come out in 2014.
You can expect me to go aboard the beta and publish the juicy info.

EDIT:

MapleStory and MapleStory 2 are separate games.

The difference is that the sequel will be a full 3D MMORPG offering a quarter view perspective. I want to emphasize that they are two different separate games with each game having different game mechanics and gameplay.
Both games are developed by their own separate teams. MapleStory is developed by the MS Team while MapleStory 2 is developed by the MS2 Team. Development of MapleStory will still continue when MapleStory 2 is released.

And no, you cannot transfer anything from MapleStory to MapleStory 2. The only thing that will be linked to each other will be events and such.

I wonder how they're gonna go about this one.. Game has so many skills, I think it'd be cool for them to make a combo system for each class. Doubt that though.

G-STAR 2013 is coming in two days. What does this mean? It means Nexon will reveal their lineup of games such as DOTA 2, Peria Chronicles and hopefully more info on MapleStory 2.
I witnessed when they just announced existence of MapleStory 2. Five years have passed. I feel old.

Can't say I'm not hyped for this. Really interested in seeing what they do.

I wonder if it will be a slow buildup of mechanics like the original was, or if it will just jump off where this game left off.

I'm just wondering if Maplestory 2 would be NexonNA's saving grace.

TBH, I expect a whole new game with new mechanics.
Maybe I'm just too delusional but heh... I can't lose any more faith on this game .
