Maybe it's not Athena, just some ancestress (or some other Elf entirely).

I took all of the 1920x1080 wallpapers they would give me.

There are options for phones and 1600x1200 wallpapers as well, I just didn't grab them.

You may be familiar with how Japanese speakers frequently reverse their R and L sounds (Engrish). Korean-English (aka Konglish) speakers have two common letter substitutions:
English V is typically transliterated/pronounced as B. (Ereve in English is thus Ereb)
English F is typically transliterated/pronounced as P.
Two others that typically show up in more poor translations:
English L replaced by R. (Not nearly as frequently as other Asian languages, but can happen.)
English TH replaced by S. (My favorite example of this in GMS is Risell Squid. It is a bad transliteration of Lethal Squid.)
So, if you are having trouble figuring out why things are different between KMS and GMS, check the above things and see if you can figure out how they got be different.
EDIT: If you are unfamiliar by what I mean by Transliteration, it's not the same as Translation. Transliteration is going from one type of writing to another type of writing. For example: Hannukah/Channuka or Osama BinLaden/Usama Bin Laden. The differences in spellings are because the sounds of the language are different and are not meant for the Roman alphabet and the letters are an approximation.

This sort of pomegranate throws me off. If this is supposed to be the past, why is he there?

I am just now starting to learn Korean. It is my understanding that ㅂ can be read as B or P. Is this true?

Yeah, that's exactly it, but when it's used to represent a sound in a foreign language, it can be used in place of V or F. My understanding is very limited as well. I am a big linguistics guy (25 years of study), but I haven't forayed into Asian languages nearly as much as I have into western languages. (I like asian languages better than western because the rules for them are much simpler and straightforward. They are just more difficult to remember because they don't share roots with latin languages.) I really like the Korean writing system because it's actually systematic.

I am just now starting to learn Korean. It is my understanding that ㅂ can be read as B or P. Is this true? ㅂ can be B, P, V and M depending on context.
If it is capitalized(ㅃ , it has a stronger B(almost P) sound, where it is more like a B sound when it isn't capitalized(ㅂ . Usually, when a word starts with ㅂ(발렌타인스=Valentines), it is a V, but it can also be B(불 = bul(fire)).
However, if the letter is on bottom of the sign(합 in 감사합니다 , it is an M. 감사합니다 = Gam-sa-ham-ni-da. It means thank you.
Another situation where it is B or P, and it is on bottom of the sign(입력 , is when the sign starts with a ㅇ(has no sound). 입럭 = Ib-lyuk.
I hope this makes sense.

It makes sense. I hope to have a majority of the Korean alphabet (not the Chinese symbols part) memorized in the next month or so. I'll probably need to either memorize the keyboard or get stickies for my keyboard so I can type efficiently.

Was Ereve called Ereve in Aria's time?
If not, it's possible that Empress Ereve may have been greatly respected and made so many contributions it was decided that the place would be named after her.
Another possibility is that she was named after the place for whatever reason. Maybe there was some old prophecy about stuff and she fit the bill so she was named after the place because the prophecy said so. Or it could be a title bestowed upon her for her service or something like that.

Animated slime!
The quality of this gif is kinda crappy in comparison to the one on the site. The site is using some script to animate the spritesheet on the site.

Eh, Nexon said they have no plans to monetize the game like they did with MS1. As long as that is still the plan, I have no qualms. I'd be happy if they went pay2play, but with Nexon being the original "Pioneer' of F2P gaming, I doubt that will happen.
