To all MapleStory fans,

We ran into unexpected technical difficulties during this week’s maintenance period which resulted in the servers being offline for longer than usual. We understand the frustration you may have felt and would like to offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

To thank you all for your patience and continued support of MapleStory we have extended the duration of all cash items by 48 hours and will credit every account with attendance for 12/4 during next week’s maintenance period as part of the ongoing ‘Winter Attendance Event’.

As additional compensation we will be running 2x Experience/Drop events on 12/7 and 12/8. Timings for these events are as follows:



Saturday, December 7 - Sunday, December 8, 2013
Pacific: 12 AM – 5 AM & 1 PM – 6 PM
Eastern: 3 AM – 8 AM & 4 PM – 9 PM

Finally all players who log into their account within the next seven days will find a mystery gift from us waiting for them. You can access this by clicking the gift box icon to the left side of the game window. Once you receive your gift you’ll need to move it into the Cash Shop inventory to open it.

Yea luckily i had never done the aliens quest on my character so i could get out but my friend has done all of those quests so hes stuck in there.

If you mean the box from the other attendance event which gives a permanent pet and a hair coupon, you can start getting those whenever. I got the pet box on a few accounts today since I didn't start it yesterday.
