Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion

Oh yeah, I know. I've already "completed" it, if that's what the crowns mean. I'm just looking for the Pokedex entires and Medals at the moment. That, and to see if I can manage to actually get all 3 of them right now. Not only am I looking to complete the Pokedex, but I want to have at least 1 of all 718 Pokemon.

That's a really bold ambition, owning at least 1 of everything. Unfortunately I had to give back the Zapdos and Articuno traded to me for data so I won't be doing that until Bank is out. I've also set aside 20 boxes for breeding so I don't see myself doing that soon, aha.
I kind of regret not going with my brother in choosing Chespin over Froakie.

Yeah, it's not something I'm going to be able to do easily and/or quickly, even with the Pokebank out. I almost managed it with Pearl a few years ago, I only needed Mew and Celebi, but had to get rid of the game, so I wasn't able to complete it. I don't own any of the previous games anymore, so until I'm able to buy B/W and X or Z (if it comes out), it's going to be pretty difficult. And even then, getting previous event legendaries, and legendaries period will be hard as hell.

Dang, I had Magmortar which I traded away a Japanese Electivire for, but I gave it away to someone else who needed the data. I got the Electivire and a Weavile from trading away some 5 IV Goomy on GTS.

I'm doing the Battle Maison right now to get the items for those two, so those aren't a problem. Right now the only thing that'll be a problem is the birds and Xerneas. Though I can get those a couple months down the road once I buy more Pokemon games.

There's a program running around, "Battle Analyser", that works for battles as Instachecker does for trades. As soon as you confirm your team on a Wi-Fi battle, it loads up information on your party to your opponent's PC (if they're running BA). It also tells them what attack you're using if you select your attack before they do.

It's really fucking shitty and makes me want to avoid Wi-Fi battling until this is somehow fixed. I don't think it's fixable, though..

I didn't realize that was happening. But that explains why WiFi rated battles are down for the past week.

From those posts, it seems a counter program is being made against it, a cheat jammer It sends in false/fake input teams, I'm not sure how that works. I'll stay off WiFi battles are for a while.

Wow. I just thought that rated battles were down for minor maintenance, but now seeing this battle analyser going on, really sucks.

Can someone help me trade evolve a few of my Pokemon?

For reward/trade:
-Zubat with Jolly, infiltrator, and egg moves: Nasty plot, Defog, Brave bird
-Eevee with Timid and Anticipation
-Swinubs with Adamant and Thick fat, Egg moves: Icicle Crash, Stealth Rock, Icicle spear
-Shuppet with Adamant and Destiny Bond, in a Luxury Ball
-Rotom with Modest nature
-Scyther with Adamant and Technician
-Joltik with Timid and Compound Eyes
-Kangaskhan with Adamant and scrappy, in a luxury ball
-Gastly with timid nature

I think all of those have random IVs, but they have some that are relevant perfect.

It's odd, but there is a trick involving changing the date/clock to make it rain if you want to do that.
On your 3ds, change the date to a Monday, around 12:00 pm, and go to route 14.

I wonder how long the average fishing chain is. Mine keep running into the 60s and I already caught 5 stinking shiny Goldeen. Carvanha's found 30-35% of the time.

Crazy luck with chain fishing though. I've had multiple chains of over 100 and I've only caught one shiny so far.
