breeding stuff with 12.5% chance of being male/female is a horrible pain.

I haven't tested out the team yet but they are above lv 50 for now. I'm not sure about it with all the StickySpiders around (yes, I use a stickyspider for my sweeper sadly...I could run trick room but it's too risky)

Edit: 2 things:
1) I think I got my team ready but I have to IV breed them now. I could go with my EV trained team but I don't think it will go far. xD

2) I hope we're allowed multiple hold items because I may need 2 pokemon with leftovers. >.>(planning to get B/W2 for another leftovers and for certain pokemon that needs moves that are not learned/breed/etc from X/Y

I'd like to take on this challenge! =]

I noticed the "November 15th" isn't on the first post anymore (unless I'm super blind), it's still on that day, correct?

I'd join, but my team is no where near completion. I know what will be on my team, just have to breed for IVs (not perfect, just good enough), moves, get items from the Battle Maison, and spam Super Training. Biggrin

dunno, team making is taking too long, i may just not go for the full strategy, wouldn't be too bad for the challengers

I'll be participating as well. I have 4/6 of my Pokemon IV bred + EV trained. Have my 5th Poke bred and ready to EV train, and my 6th Poke still yet to be bred. GETTING EXCITED FOR THIS. A friend just traded me a Pokemon with Pokerus too. I'll be passing that along to my team as soon as I have them all together....

Also, one other thing.

I call winning.

I highly suggest you take advantage of the 10 poke limit, otherwise youll be at a hugeee disadvantage

Would it be possible to start the tournament with 6 Pokémon and add the other 4 at a later point? I don't have the time to get a full set of 10 before we start, and since we don't know the teams of the Gym Leaders / E4 in advance it's not like we can abuse the system.

May wanna know this as well. I'd already have 10 Pokemon by down, but I don't even have my full team of 6 yet since I've been MMing for like 2 weeks straight to try getting a Shiny Goomy for my 5th slot... I've been doing fine in random passerby battles even with the handicap though. Doesn't say much when they're pretty much all a bunch of dudes with teams composed of Blaziken, Mewtwo, Yvelta, Charizard, Lucario, and their starter.

Yes you can do that, but I'm bumping up the date, I'm not sure when though because apparently a lot of people didn't have enough time.

Question. So. Rotom.

If we have one Rotom on our team, when we enter it in do we have to state which form that it is? Or are we allowed to switch the forms in between battles? e.g., I fight a grass gym leader with a fire Rotom, but before I go and fight the water gym leader, I switch it to grass form.

Personally, I think you should have to state the form and stick with it, otherwise it's basically 6 pokemon in one. and some of the others agree. Ultimately, it's up to Khainiwest though.

Part of the challenge is creating a team that could work against any opponents. Having a pokemon that can switch its forms on the fly to get a type advantage kinda defeats the point.

So, what are the types. And I'm guessing champion is mixed.

You won't be able to change the forms, you can use multiple forms, but you'd be eating up multiple slots of your 10 slots.
