Might be obvious, but Dittos (especially specific natured ones) are in demand in the GTS too. It's fairly easily to obtain one before post game because I've seen them requesting for common stuff, but better chances os offering to trade version exclusives. I got a few Dittos for trading off Skrelps.
I think I'm doing something wrong, but I keep getting errors when trying to obtain a Shroomish or Breloom from the GTS.

It's actually 50/50 for most Pokemon, with some exceptions. Starters are the lowest though and have always been like 12.5:87.5 female to male.

So putting in 3 Kasib/Mago/Any pink I guess(?) berries gives you Surprise Mulch which raises the chances of hybridizing.
V Too easy imo. You could finish off the E4 without doing any grinding in Victory Road.

Anyone else disappointed with how easy this game is?
I mean, it's either easy or Black was too hard. Like, Black/White Elite 4 was soooo brutal with such hard types to counter, but even then most of them have great coverage of their counters. The entire X/Y Elite 4 is pretty much countered by 2 Starters + 1 Fairy or Fairy move. And then the Champion... What the hell, is Gardevoir really that threatening? In Black 1/2, I had to beat a pineappleing Life Orb Hydreigon with Draco Meteor! God damn that was painful. I had to pull out every single Max Revive I had, rethink my team composition, and backtrack for some useful TMs. With X/Y, I just rushed past everything because I was tired of fighting trainers that can't ever hope to put a dent in any of my 3 Pokemon...
I'm kind of disappointed with how the pacing was near the end... I blame this on Exp Share and the fact you can get Swords Dance TM near the beginning of the game.

The game has actually been one of the best in the entire franchise in terms of challenge in my opinion. However, I don't use EXP Share, and will never recommend using EXP Share unless you're training something specific that you might not want to switch in and out constantly for.
The game is insanely well-paced when played normally. Not once have I encountered an area that I was just clearly overleveled for. Hell, I'm running into trainers that would be E4 and even CHAMPION level in past games, and I'm not even done with my badges yet. Good stuff.

Yep, mostly starters and fossils. Up through Gen V.
Getting a female Eevee in the Dream World was a pain.
Also, managed to find a male Litleo. While searching, found numerous Dunsparce, 2 Riolu (1f, 1m), and buttloads of Farfetch'd. I'd say that Litleo's ratio is 7f:1m.

I agree that Black was harder but while that was true. This generation is way WAY more fun. I haven't been this giddy over Pokemon since Emerald.

I contemplated turning off the exp share, knowing what I was getting in to.
But holy pomegranate this game has so many pokemon, that with using exp share, I could level up the pokemon in my team, then put them anyone over-leveled in the box and level up other pokemon I wanted, then swap back. Near the beginning it was still slightly hard to be over-leveled, but later on with all the side tracking with catching pokemon, battle chateau grinding, cafes, etc, my team was always a bit high. So because of this, I got to box tons of my pokemon and see the evolutions for new pokemon, as well as trying out older pokemon I haven't used or really like.
I've never wanted to catch em all and complete a dex before, but this game just makes it so much fun to do. Part of the reason might've been because I feel like for once my team isn't restricted to 6 like every other game. In this game I had 6 pokemon in the first route and felt free to use all of them. I used a zigzagoon for like the first time and it was awesome (dat zigzag attack pattern <3). No more "if I use this guy too much he'll steal all the precious trainer exp that my actual team needs". No more "if you're not gonna use it, box it"
Well this is my view at least, and why I think the exp share was such a nice idea, especially with the amount of pokemon in the game.

Maybe they wanted the players to pull an Ash and encourage you to ditch your entire team every time you come to a new area with the exception of your starter.
Though, for people looking for any kind of difficulty, I highly recommend turning off EXP Share or shuffle your pokemon frequently.

man, I am SO out of practice.
Even with a level 30 Braixen, I still haven't beaten the 2nd fxcking gym. >_>
I need to stop getting distracted trying to level up random pokes.

When they're weak to Rock? Yes.
Like, I have a ****ing Flareon and Jolteon, and trying to get a Sylveon and I forgot to teach it a fairy move, so here I sit with a useless ESPEON. >_>

Yesterday, I went after Team Flare for the final time and fought Xerneas. First Ultra Ball: 3 taps, fails. Second Ultra Ball: critical capture!
The cutscene with AZ and the war was tear jerking. The other scenes were jaw dropping as well. Can't get enough of this game.

I beat the gym with an all fire type pokemon team. You should definitely be able to do it with a level 30 braxien!

That's very direct of you. You tried really hard to call me out personally and do nothing else related.
