I wonder why they picked Xenon before Demon Avenger. I mean...I suppose Xenon is more popular, but that hasn't stopped Nexon from following the release pattern before.

Same thing could be said about the equip drop rate. As I recall, equips started dropping like candy in KMS when Unlimited hit, but I didn't see any drop in the teaser.

As for boss changes, I really hope they're tinkered with at least somewhat. That's probably the most important thing.
Apparently Spark copied over KMS' Unlimited Boss HPs for everywhere except Root Abyss (or at least Empress still has Unlimited level HP). I hope we don't follow suit.

how in the world do they expect to kill bosses with only 5m damage aside from the few that get fafnir early

Super excited now! Though honestly, since my favorite part of this update is the KMS item revamp, I will probably be spending next Thursday in the FM looking at how stuff would increase my range.

Anyway I don't know if this has been mentioned on this thread or whereever, but after more than a month of not being in touch with MS or the internet whatsoever doesn't help me.
If I recall correctly [MENTION=10355]Girasol[/MENTION]; told us we won't get additional options right? So what are we getting?

Having a Fafnir weapon will not help with anything. We will not get CMS system where damage cap is connected to weapons, nor will we get KMS additional options, so Fafnir weps will not get that extra ignore and boss damage. The few extra attack they have over Empress and Loveless weapons are not going to do diddly squat.

Nothing to directly replace that system, as far as we know. No information of such a system has been released, and I doubt it will come with this patch.
The damage cap is still being raised though.

I think we're all going to wait for specifics on everything until Tuesday when the patch notes get released...Monday or Tuesday whichever day they decide to reveal some more specific detail on what it is we are getting. I would like to maybe see the Marvel Machine stuff come back though...I came back to the game a month after it left and I am kinda eager to try my luck at obtaining Tyrant gear and a Lightning Ring Heart

fafnirs are pretty far out there. they have more secondary and primary stat than all weapons, and for 1h swords at least, it is 33 attack above empress, 24 above loveless, 14 above japanese myth and has a great set, so im not really sure how it will do diddly squat.

30 something attack and some extra main stat will not make or break your bossing. Not by a long shot.

Then i guess getting 30 attack on a tyrant boot does nothing as well? Or a nova boot? it gives stats, so is that useless too?
30 attack is a hell of a lot better than you make it out to be, honestly. Maybe it isnt great to a DB who has a high attack dagger + the potential extra 150 attack from a katara, but for a lot of people attack is something very useful. And i will again point out the set is still good.

30 attack is a nice boost generally of course, but that was not the point.
You will not become a boss killing machine just because you have a Fafnir weapon if you weren't before getting it.

You can get by without a fafnir. If you want the best damage possible, it'll be a heck of a lot easier with 30 extra attack and the set bonus.

Considering there are still people like me who use an agares sword, it is a good investment. The weapon literally is 13 attack weaker than my GMed agares with 2 stars. And that was with +5 above avg.
And honestly, nothing really makes you into a killing machine. Everything has to work together. Everything has to be upgraded, bought, cubed, etc. The only thing that makes you a killing machine without massive amounts of work is the character you play being OP.
