Deviljho isn't really that hard. He just freaks people out the first time because of his wide area attacks and the fact that he does a lot of damage to Low Rank/early High Rank armor. It makes people scared of him when he's really pretty much piss easy.

Stygian Zinogre is awesome. I am not disappointed. I was worried he would be just a regular reskin with Dragon Element, but he's not, so I'm happy.

Plesioth is the stupidest monster I have ever hunted. It did the same attack(animation?) for over one minute (the one that he does in the intro scene that he jumps out of water), Kayamba was just throwing bombs at him and I was shooting like no tomorrow, after that in the ground he suddenly started to use splash like magikarp or was just standing there for like 1 min without doing nothing, It didn't even take me 20 mins to kill it... My brother even asked why I was killing a retarded fish with legs...

Weird, because this "retarded fish with legs" is giving me problems, he isn't dying. By now, I'm looking at a few options:

*Try to get a Djinn
*Use Twin Chainsaws
*Upgrade my Insecticutters
*Get my Barb Blade out. I'm good with long swords.

He's kind of a mix for me. Sometimes, like Chic said, he'll just sit there shifting his head from one side to the other like he's trying to figure out what's going on, all the while I'm ripping his "wings" apart, but he's also simultaneously annoying at times. Most of his water attacks aren't so bad, but I hate his hipcheck and don't even get me fucking started on his tailswing. In my opinion it's the worst in the game, he's so damn long, especially with his long tail and the fin on the end that extends outwards, you could be 50 feet away from him and still end up getting hit.

As for Green Plesioth... pineapple him and his decision to constantly spam his sweeping water laser. Ended up getting hit once, and then he proceeded to use the attack again 5 times in a row, completely preventing me from getting away or dodging, as I'd just get hit again once I recovered, so it ended up carting me.

I'm so glad I am only missing a few more G-Rank Plesioth parts to finish my Water-element Dual Swords, I'll be happy to be done with him.

This is because the Stamina system was not kind to him AT ALL. When he's exhausted he takes a very long time to figure out what to do. This means Hammers, HH, and Bows/Bowguns with Exhaust S/Coats can make quick work of him, especially if you have Stamina Drain. I noticed this the first time I fought him, but didn't realize that it was due to exhaustion due to a lack of the saliva drip. Later on, when I had the Sand Barioth bow and my friend was using Hammer, we had him exhausted in less than 3 minutes and he was basically idle for 75% of the fight. Stamina draining also helps kick monsters out of rage (which gives them stamina), so having a Hammer or two on a Plesioth run will make your life easy.

If you don't drain him, he's a complete fu'cking assh'ole.

I used my Lagiacrus DBs (not upgraded ones), High rank Jaggi set with Attack Boost (L), my power talon and kayamba felyne and chacha fluffy both maxed (lvl 5 mask and 3 chum chum).

I haven't play in a few days thanks to the elections and riots in my country, I still have to kill the new gigginox.

Trying to do Mark of a Hero in HR gear. Cannot find a Gunlance to use, augh.

Unlocked Dire Miralis this morning.

If I had to describe him in one sentence, I would probably say, "He's basically Fatalis with wing lava cannons." Seriously....he definitely uses Fatalis' model and shares some of the moves...and then has cannons for wings.

Also his armor sucks. I haven't beaten him yet (failed twice, my and my friend's armor needs upgrading) but my Kayamba stole parts and I got a look at it.

Solo'd my first Jho last night, pomegranate was tense.

He's fun, though.

I'm just a few Bnaha carapace close to forging my first blue sharpness weapon.

Also, I unlocked 7* quests.

To those wanting to fight Hallowed Jhen Mohran, you have to beat Alatreon's Village quest to unlock it..

EDIT: You can still always find a host with the quest, though, just like Abyssal Lagiacrus/Lucent Nargacuga.

I killed my first Brachydios today, he killed me once and after that he got very easy, I adapted his fighting style to my LS style. I ended up making the Dios DBs and they are OP, they kill things 2-3 times faster than usual (and I use a lot of elemental DBs and LSs) O.o. I'm wondering how powerful they'll be with the correct set, I think something like bombardier would help it a lot.

Slime in general is OP, unfortunately. If you have 4 people using Slime the game becomes laughably easy.

You should use them on Nibelsnarf. His natural reaction to Bombings it to become fishable. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this.

I used the new DBs with my HR jaggi armor and I killed Lagiacrus, Agnaktor, Duramboross and Zinogre in less than 60 minutes together, I was just buying potions not even tramps... this with bombardier and sharpness would destroy everything... In the other hand it's good for farming.

Gonna retry Mark of a Hero with this now that I have it (Since all three monsters in this quest are decently weak to Ice).

I'm gonna wait 'till I got at least G-rank armor to attempt Mark of a Hero.

Got to HR3 with my friend today. Dived into the Rathalos quest, was intense, and then...

Now Jho really won't stop stalking me whenever I try to chase the Rathalos, unless Los is in that one area. I'm trying to wait for both to move to different areas, but there are 9 minutes left in the quest. T_T

Okay gg, 1 minute left and I get fireballed to death. This is just... man. Q_Q Have to gather friends and give it another go, I guess. Last I heard, the rest of my friends are stuck at Brachydios, trying to get to HR4.
