I've been neglecting the game recently, but I just hopped on my 3DS and played around with the demo again for a bit, since I have a bit more experience with the game now. I think I'm definitely going to go with dual blades. Of all of the weapons I tried, it and sword and shield are the two I find the most enjoyable.

I love that attacking speed. That sharpness issue is going to be quite a bother, though.

So I've tried multiple times now, and it's not working. I think there's something else going on for it to not work at 3-4AM in the morning. The base link always times out and when I try to connect through the English version of the sheet it errors out with the Script id not permitted thing. I don't think it's an overloaded server at this point.

Why, oh why, did I focus on creating a combination of Rathalos+Volvidon armor?! I'm only missing one part, the Rathalos Faulds, which requires a Rathalos Plate... I've killed about 10 so far, each one with their head broken and their tail cut and captured, but still no dice. Of course, there is the fact that the Plate has only like a fucking 2-3% chance to get, so that's fantastic.

I considered making a combination armor to get Evasion +1 and Razor Sharp, but I can't for the life of me get a combination to work. All of my tries end up with Razor Sharp being 1 or 2 points less than needed to get the skill, and I can't even make the decoration yet, and even when I can, the materials it requires are pretty rare. I thought about just using the Wroggi Armor, and then I could just decorate Attack Up (S/M) into the slots, but I'd be missing Evasion +1, which helps a lot for Dual Sword users. Agh.

Is there some completely specific charm you really want or something? You might be better off just going with it, maybe making another character later.

If we really are IP blocked from the site, we may never see it fixed, and who knows if anyone actually got the code for it.

I just want charm table 10,and there is no way in hell i'm going with a character on the off chance that I got a cursed table. I will need to ask somebody on the site who has a Japanese IP (probably link here) to confirm if some cruel person IP blocked the site

Anyone got any tips for how to deal with the HR quests that feature a hunting mission that asks you to hunt a monster, all while the wonderful Deviljho wrecks the party and makes it his duty to kill you while you hunt the other monster? I just did the one where I had to kill the Crimson Qurupeco, while I was constantly chased and attacked by Deviljho, who I am in no way ready to take on. Died once and had a difficult time. I managed to complete it, but I am not looking forward to the other missions where Deviljho makes a guest appearance.

Dung Bomb to the face. He should leave the area. If that doesn't work, Dung Bomb whatever you're fighting and follow it.

Quru would just call him right back a few seconds later. Maybe it won't be as bad with other monsters whose niche ISN'T to just call for backup like a pansy.

It also doesn't help that I think that quest starts with a jho too, so it's set to call him no matter what. Gotta go for the throat pouch thing and hope for the best.

Just hit High Rank Offline myself. Purple Ludroth was as terrible as he was in P3rd.

Seems like you're going to just have to do it the old fashioned way. Not sure if you can do that without getting High Rank though, since my understanding is most low rank charms are pretty much everywhere.

They're the ones who decided to use this stupid system in the first place -.-....

I just want them to fix up the framerate in game a little bit for the Wii U version. That's really all I ask for in terms of stuff to patch right now.

I know I followed the guide for table 10 down to the :44 second(choose the middle of the three seconds for time reaction error)so I won't worry about it

fyi I was using a Japanese proxy and at 3AM EST, both sites are error'd. Maybe they went over their limit or something.

Hope they're back up by the time I can play.... >___>;
