Did anything change when you turned 18?

If there is one thing I hope for in college is the girls get better,the girls at my high school is...bleh. I probably won't go to prom to be honest

On average, girls get worse I would say. They are still in their prime years where they have a lot of natural beauty. Men tend to have more of an advantage in their 30s when they're headlong into their career and have some money built up. Money makes men more attractive.

For me, alcohol stop tasting so good. I mean its still good, but its just not same as before :/

I could drive with as many people in my cars as it could fit, and i didn't have to lie about being over 18 on websites.

Absolutely nothing changed for me.

I stopped celebrating birthdays and paying attention to my age when I was 12. So I didn't notice anything.

I'll be honest...
For me, nothing changed when
1) I got into High School
2) I turned 18
3) I turned 21
Even though people always preached that everything changes when those three things happen.

The biggest change, in my opinion, is when I got my first full time job. It's a huge adjustment, but more than that, having a constant inflow of a decent paycheck is a huge change, honestly.
That's really the only time things really changed for me.

lol nope. Turned 18., got FB messages, my life continued.

Turned 21, had a night time midterm the same day. Hated that class so much. Ruined my non-existent probably-was-going-to-be-epic birthday party. I have still yet to buy Alcohol from a store, which is kind of the point of being 21, but w/e I'll get there when i get there.

I changed more so far in my early 20s than I did between 17-19. 21-23 has been a huge difference, mostly from the experience of being on a deployed Navy vessel.

Nothing really changed for me at 18, nor did anything change with me when I hit 21. I can't drink for medical reasons :[

It's funny, you think things will change when you reach a certain age, but they really don't. People's attitudes change for a bit, but then they go back to the norm. For me 16,18,21, the "big" stages in life, came and went. I will have completed my 22nd year of life soon and there have been big changes, but they have been subtle and more of a slow evolution. Yeah, age in terms of society brings with it more possibilities and restrictions, but nothing about your mentality changes in those instances. Like said before, it is more about the experiences that we go through that change us.

Absolutely nothing at all. I'm turning 22 next month and still feel like I'm in my late teens.

Money becomes like your life source. Even if you are in a living situation where you do not think it is important, it really is. Remember that one middle or high school teacher that always talked about buyer beware and all of that jazz? IT IS ALL TRUE.

The age of 18 is like taking the first step onto a "board game for adults" where it only takes a couple of unwise decisons to ensure that you are pineappled for life.


On the other hand, it is just as likely that everything could be fine and that there might not be anything to worry about at the moment.

My deal is that your post is offensive and reflects the sentiments of someone who lived a hundred years ago or in a backwards society in which the most valuable thing about a woman is her sexual attractiveness and where men are the providers.
