Did anything change when you turned 18?
#1
Other than having to follow the laws of an adult, did anything change about how people acted toward you, or how you felt in general?

I know it is a silly question, but I always wonder what would change about me,like there would be this switch in my brain that would make me more serious or something...agh I'm overthinking this.Tongue

Nothing changed for me. Rolleyes My take on things did not magically change simply because I was entering college, at any rate.

If it helps, the legal gambling age here is 21. Not that it changed much except to get me off the idea of gambling for pocket money because my mother always wins the most at the casino. Tongue

I believe the gambling age in america is 21 too, anyway I won't gamble my luck is terrible ,and I won't drink when I turn 21 because I don't see the appeal of it. Maybe I will loosen up a little when I turn 18.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't do any of those things that become legal at a certain age much, so it's honestly not that different. As for voting, I learned that both parties suck. Rolleyes

I got a set of luggage from my Mom for my 18th B-Day. Think there was a subliminal message in that. LOL.:f6:

When you're an adult, you have to seek out like-minded people rather than rely on lines drawn by your state board of education. Good luck!

Nothing changed at all for me. Not even considering I was in a country where the legal drinking age is 18, because I just don't care about drinking. If anything, I'd say going to college changed me more than me being a year older did, because of the experiences of being away from home and on my own.

16, 18, 21... Nothing so far. What's the next milestone? 30? I'll be a wizard by then.

Nothing really changed in me when I turned 18, however a lot changed when I got my first job a few months later.

Nothing changes until you're 21 really. 25(in some states) for car rentals.
