On the other hand, they could easily have restricted the event to accounts created before Tempest patch, or characters over 60, or even more creative ideas such as "accounts that have logged a total of at least 10 hours of play".

Of those, level 60 is the most strict requirement, I have a whole slew of mule accounts that would look like long-time players, just cause I idle on them a fair amount.

The potential and bonus potential though, yeah, most people won't get what they want on the first shot, and will need to cube it up if they want to make it useful.

When some people live in California and have no lag, while others live halfway across the world and take a full second to pick up a drop?
When some people have a powerful computer that can deal with Day of Darkness mob scenes, while others lag to a standstill even in a deserted town, and d/c at Zakum?
When some people have multiple computers and can HS themselves or even set up an entire party of mules for LHC, while others have to beg anyone to train with them?
When some people have jobs and plenty of spare cash to throw at the game, while others have to count their pennies?

Nothing about MapleStory is fair. I agree that limiting European players from creating new accounts is especially unfair of Nexon, particularly after they removed the one-account-per-person limit from the ToS. But asking the Americans and Aussies and "others" to refrain from using mule accounts just because the Europeans can't is not fair, either.

That said, I fear that the community's greedy, exploitative approach to anything nice Nexon gives us, will backfire sooner or later.

It's going to take a Nova belt to replace the Mystic belt at this rate... not to mention the pendant too. Where's CWKPQ when you want it? The Avarice pendant is only useful for monster park... and not for anything else.

Would really like to be able to fuse Karma orbs... stupid Nexon. Tossing epic pot scrolls on them is useless if you can't recycle them!

Logged on for today's hot time. For some reason 2 of my mules didn't get the hot time rewards for today, but instead got the 10 tempest coins and x2 drop card compensation rewards from earlier in the month. lol
