I wouldn't worry, the deadline was 7/6 11:59:59PM KST IIRC. It was still about 9pm when he posted.

That was fun while it lasted. I appeared to disconnect in a map and had to close my client, only to find that I couldn't log back in because it thought I was already connected.

An example of a relatively easy party quest in MapleStory 2. There are more though. This game is so adorable.

I made a knight (after quitting a ranger).

Finally got to this patch's level cap! I must say, I've enjoyed playing as the Assassin class more than I thought I would have. Now all I'm doing is finishing up quests, killing bosses for gems/equips, and looking for english players to do PQs with. I also want to try out the PvP, but I'm not entirely sure how to access it.

I think I'll either make a Priest or an Archer next, not entirely sure.

Man, Thief is pretty fragile...well, it's partly my fault for aggro-ing so many birks and whatever those energy bolt-slinging goblin things are.

So, the honeymoon period is obviously clouding my judgement but I am really in love with this game. I don't think they could have pulled off a Maplestory reboot any better than this. Once this gets released to English I'm probably going to quit every other MMO just to play this because like, wow.


I have a question, is the hit-delay just an issue of me being foreign or is it like that for the Korean players as well?

Assuming you haven't changed your keys, press U (Community) then go to the second tab (Friend List). Click the button in the top right of that window. A pop-up with a narrow box and a wider box should come up. The narrow box is for the IGN of the person you want to add as a buddy, and the wider box is for a short message.

Seems like it is way more beneficial to grind in a clusterfuck of people rather than solo, even if you only hit a mob once you get nearly all of the EXP you would have gotten from a solo kill, but when there are 4 or 5 people on the map you don't even have to be in a party, you're going to level really fast. I went from 17-20 in an hour just hanging around the area outside of henesys and random passerbys deciding they wanted to hang out and kill stuff, and since loot is unique to you there's no chance of your loot being stolen.
