You silly speculator. Don't start rumors by spreading around "videos" documenting evidence of this hack actually being real

All the video "proves" is that they can log on an account with 2 computers... it's not exactly complicated video trickery to cut from fade to black on character 1 to fade into character 2. And even if a hack is involved, they're hacking someone on their own network... you could pull that off with a router without even letting Nexon know the difference.

like kitterz say in the video description: maybe it got patched in the last night patch, since he posted it march 2nd.

and probably the remote hacks come from w8baby vip section, since they sell the kittersPE there and working bypass for maple.

If you'll care to open MapleStory, yoshi, you'll notice that MapleStory.exe will get patched.

Yes there was a patch. And as I was posting that reply to Tugboat, I just got a word from someone else that it did get patched.

Even though the person wouldn't lie to me about this stuff, I will say it's best to remain cautious for the next week or so.

I am still not totally convinced without a real source/link anything that proves that it got patched, or not patched. If it is true, then I hope we will be hearing less reports about people getting remote hacked and hope that those who got affected by it gets the proper compensation to their items.

If it did get patched, it's relatively fast for Nexon - I guess they're paranoid from the December/January mass hacking and now they actually fix things... :|

Fiel said there's no changes to the .wz files which means that it PROBABLY was a retro-patch for the remote hack.

Assuming it was, it is still very sneaky of Nexon to pull something like that without informing anyone about the issue. But what ever, hope they did fix it and I hope they compensate those that were affected by it.
