Don't know if any other servers, but bello's getting owned right now. This is basically what's happening
- Person whispers you to come FM/CC/etc
- You do it, you DC
- You come back, and you're hacked
I think it's similar to "remote hack" that happened last year. The person doing it seems to be "whoever hacked the NL named Dalton (real life name) long ago". So far 3+ high levels in bello got hit that we know about, all related since once they hack one, they pretend to be a friend, and hack the next person.

Normally I'd be extremely skeptical of this. How three months can change your perspective.
However, I'd still ask that you bring back proof of others that can collaborate your claims and screenshots of the alleged activities before we start speculating on what is going on.

Seems to me more like person x already got person y's info and then DC hacks them in order to jack their account.

I don't think any of the people I know so far actually frequent here, but I can get them to come I guess. But people in bello probably know the following people
- BigSoda (NL = Kenx232, think he transffered from yellonde or khaini)
- aBalloon (Applaudes/Tessset/Doodled)
- exGenre (he actually comes here. Equinoxes and his new NL are alts)
They never actually got DCed until they CCed to the whisper-er. When they got DCed, they could not log back in, but their characters were still logged into game. They couldn't log back inside until the character went offline in game (5~10min+ to do so)

Someone on the Nexon forums from Khaini mentioned this last night, as well. Their topic was immediately locked by Hime.

Only person i can name from my photographic memory is Tessset.

Seems like I just dodged a bullet...
Some character whispered me, telling them to CC to 2 to buy this WS in a shop for 20m. I asked who the hell he was.
I went another computer, on another character, and checked it out. Turns out there was none. But however... seems like someone else took the hit...
Awhile after, apparently a 15X Aran named Zapxapple got hacked by the CC.
EDIT: Zapxapple also got the same message, but he cc'd. I didn't I questioned him.

Wellllllllll. It's a good thing that I haven't really been on. I was going to stop leveling until the new event came around. But then again, I'm only level 89 so who wants to hack me.

At least he wasn't on his bishop when that happened. I know a lot of people that'd want his Doomsday Staff.

My guild keeps me here. And I'm here for my guild.
It's funny though Fumni, DoezX was on, and in the same channel and map as me. ZapXapple and I got the same whisper from the same character, HsSloot.

See, this is what's wrong with the system. I must've reported DoezX 15 times during the inquisition period, and I know you've reported him as well. Eos, you and I as well as 1/2 of Bera, Broa, Mardia and Windia know his antics, and he is still on the ranks. How much more obvious do we have to make it for Nexon? That's why I had to pack up and leave.
I have the feeling there won't be much of a guild left for you to be there for soon if this keeps up, Dave.

At this rate, there won't be any guilds left. Nexon sits there and watches the community burn down.

That's why I left as well, yet I log on every now and again to say hello to some people. That's really about it. Eos and I were talking earlier also and we both agree it's just a lost cause. Nexon will never remove their heads from their asses and do what's right. Yet we all still linger and watch "As Maple Story Turns". <sigh>

This happened before. This is why people are so paranoid that they turn off everything except party chat, guild, alliance, and BL chat. :/ I have almost everything turned off on all my characters, except for BL, guild, and alliance chat.
